Anyways this is just a little short Valentine's Day thing I've cooked up!!
Valentine's Day. As many, I'm not a big fan with it. I don't hate nor like it, it's just neutral. I don't got a Valentine and I'm pretty fine with it.
But on Valentine's Day, dad would always give me something small so that was really sweet of him.
Speaking of sweet, when I entered school, all the couples were receiving gifts from their significant others. Alan and Carman were the ones being sweet. Maybe a little TOO sweet for my liking.
I looked to my right and Gumball, who just gave Penny a gift, seemed REALLY annoyed by the couple. Seeing Gumball that annoyed, I walked to my locker faster since something was probably gonna happen.
Once I got to my locker, I heard a balloon pop.
Called it.
I sighed and just focused on getting my stuff in my locker and getting out whatever I needed.
Before I can continue, I hear a gentle knock on my locker. I closed my locker slightly to see the person, already knowing who.
Just as I suspected, it was Julius.
I felt myself smile when I saw him.
"Hey Julius." I say, Julius smiled and greeted me back.
"Heya. Before I lose all sense of everything I got, I need to ask you something." Julius said, looking away a little.
"Really? What is it?" I asked.
Julius kept silent but he quickly handed me a card and walked off as quickly as he handed it to me. I was about to call out to him but he was too far away.
I looked back at the card and opened it.
Dear [Y/N], This seems very formal as heck so I'll just cut to the chase. I'm too much of a wimp to say this in-front of your face so I'm doing this note thing to do my bidding. Will you be my valentine? - Julius
I feel my face heat up while reading. I put a hand on my cheek, processing what I just read. When I finally proceeded, I slowly smiled at this. Looks like this Valentine's Day wouldn't be so bland after all.
[Time jump]
After class, I headed over to Julius's locker since he's sometimes there at this hour. Luckily, he was there. I came up to his locker and knocked on the door a little.
"Hey Julius!" I say, waving. Julius smiled a little bit it faded quickly before he looked off to the side.
"So Uhh, about that...note. What do you, Uhh, say??" Julius said, rubbing his neck awkwardly.
I smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I'll be your valentine, Julius." I say.
Julius was taken a back by and looked at me with a shocked expression.
"Wait, really??" Julius said in disbelief. I chuckled and nodded, taking out my lollipop from this morning from my bag and handing it to him.
"Here. Just a little valentines gift since you got me that card." I said, Julius chuckled before taking it, mumbling a 'thank you.'
"We should probably get going, class is about to begin." Julius said, throwing his thumb back to him in the direction where our class was. I nodded and begun to walk there, Julius following after me.
Suddenly I felt him grab my hand and holding it.
It honestly took me by surprise but I quickly held his hand back after realizing it was just him. I smile made way on my face, as I'm not a single Pringle this Valentine's Day.
