7. Interesting toys

Burn out and personal life issues are such a BITCH- I haven't posted in months!!-

Today wasn't like any other, waking up early, feeling exhausted and wanting to just drop dead. Nothing too out of the ordinary. But I did find a really cool rock during the weekend so that was good.

As I'm walking into school, all the Halloween decorations have been taking down over the weekend. Which is a shame because Halloween was one of my favorite holidays.

I walked down the halls to my locker and get everything I need from there and putting my bag away. Then I hear a gentle knock on the locker. I already know who it was.

I closed my locker door and look beside me. It was Julius resting against the locker.

Knew it.

He smiled and gave me a small wave. I waved back and smiled as well.

"So, Halloween am I right?" I said, putting my hand in my pocket.

Julius's smile immediately fell as those words left my mouth. I slowly felt a wide smile appear on my face.

"Don't think that I will ever forget what you've done to me." Julius said in a stern voice, which led my smile to grow wider.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." I say as I turn around and walk away, trying to contain my laughter.

Julius stammered in shock before catching up to me and walking beside me. This was so hilarious but I have to hold it in.

"You know very well what you did!! It was 2 days ago!!"

"Nope! Not sure what you're talking about, bud!"

This continued for several minutes before Scythe and Rotten Cupcake came up to us.

"So, what the heck are you guys doing?" Scythe said, Rotten nodded and agreed with Scythe.

"Oh nothing, it's jus-" I began before I was rudely interrupted by Julius.

"YOU FORCED ME TO DRESS UP AS WHITTY FOR HALLOWEEN, YA PETITE DUMBO!!"

At that moment, I couldn't hold in my laugh anymore. I bursted out laughing, so did Scythe and Rotten Cupcake as Julius was FUMING with rage and going on a rant about how I was just pretending to forget.

After I slowly stopped laughing, Julius's fume was about to light up before he licked his finger and thumb and pinched his fume, making the light go out.

I took a deep breath, put a hand on his shoulder and apologized. Julius just gave me a 'you really think I'm gonna accept that?' look before he gently took my hand off his shoulder.

A smile came onto my face again and I laughed, Julius just rolled his eyes but a small smile appeared on his face.

The school bell ran, making us all groan. Half of the detention gang goes to detention and surprisingly, Julius doesn't go.

"Is juvenile delinquent Julius Oppenheimer Jr not going to detention?? This is record news!" I joked. Julius scoffed and nudged me.

"Please. I feel like skipping school anyways." He said. "Wanna join?"

"What?"

"Come on, you seriously wanna deal with all these school and useless lessons?"

I opened my mouth to say something but couldn't find anything to argue. I sighed and shrugged.

"Fine." I said, "I'll join you. But if I get in trouble, I'm taking it out on you."

"Fair enough. Let's bounce."
