(A/N: I really dislike those authors on here who take months to update and then when they do, it's nothing but crumbs of a story I'm already severely invested in...haha...I'd never do that obviously.
Anyways, sorry for disappearing for like two months and then feeding you the crumbs below).

"Are you ready?" he asks quietly.
Louis shuts down his brain for the time being, or well, forces it to shut down. He exhales a trembling breath and nods his head. "Ready," he murmurs back.
Harry regards him for a moment, eyes lingering on his face, before he turns away and faces the large, gray building once more.
They're stood at the backside of the main entrance, away from the guards and cameras. Harry parked their car down an alley next door and the others are meant to walk through the main entrance while they enter from here. As per usual, they already have an insider who gave them an access key to get in through this back entrance. It should be easy, or that's what Louis' trying to convince himself it will be. Inside, though, he's feeling all kinds of apprehension.
The wire for the mic is itching his chest and he has a huge fear that his little microscopic camera on his shirt will somehow fall down or worse, Harry will notice it and murder him right then and there.
It's drizzling now and Louis' put on a baseball cap. Harry's wearing a bandana on the lower half of his face. He's also donned a pair of black gloves. Louis' wearing a similar pair as well. He feels a little silly even though he has no reason to.
Harry glances at him once more before he starts toward the single steel door. He scans the access key from his pocket over a little keypad and the handle for the door flashes green.
Breathe, Louis reminds himself.
Harry grips the handle and slowly, carefully opens the door just enough for him to peek inside.
He stills for a moment and then turns back to Louis. "All clear," he whispers.
Louis nods once and then they start to creep inside.
It's a wide, empty space with a high ceiling. The walls are painted a brownish, maroon color and they're occupied by white sconces but nothing more. The ground is a polished hardwood that Louis recognizes as the same from his living room floor in his house growing up.
Harry walks with purpose but incredibly slowly so as not to alert anyone of their presence.
Louis had memorized the map of this place long ago - he'd study it every night before passing out and every morning before his cup of tea. He could find the vault with his eyes closed. But he follows Harry still.
He hears a buzzing and watches as Harry retrieves his phone from his pocket and stares at it.
"Doherty says the guards are taken care of at the front," he says on a whisper. The others had the task of getting the guards to 'disappear.' And while Louis is hoping that means they pretended there was some kind of commotion like a robbery happening down the street so that security would leave their posts, he knows that's just wishful thinking. He knows violence was probably involved.
"C'mon," Harry reaches a hand behind him as they hug the walls of the room and Louis is momentarily confused.
"What?" he asks as they continue walking further into the room.
Harry huffs and turns around, keeping his hand outstretched.
"Give me your hand," he requests with slight annoyance in his voice.
