Two golden eyes glared at the open window, Aether opened his eyes fully , he swore he closed that window earlier this night, the boy sighed and as his eyes adjusted to the darkness engulfing the room , only now could he see the silhouette. He got up, not making any noise, while also trying to pick up the blade standing next to the bed .
He let a sigh of relief this time, while calming down and setting down the sword he'd already picked up. "Xiao." The blonde boy said in a kind of irritated tone . A loud thud was heard as the silhouette heard those words, the surprise made him lose his balance and slip. "Oh , sorry." The silhouette said as they stood up and walked into the moonlight , "Can you please stop guarding me? It's getting on my nerves." Aether said as he looked at the embarrassed raven.
"Im sorry, I just wanted to he-" Xiao muttered before the blonde boy put a hand over his mouth. He was confused, why would the traveler do this? He was not the type to do this without talking about it first. "Sorry Xiao , there was someone outside. " Aether whispered as he took the hand off the yakshas mouth. "It was a bit abrupt you could've warned me first." Said Xiao in a sad faint voice. "Xiao, why me?" Said aether " Huh?" "Why did you choose me to be protected ?" The raven let out a big sigh.
"Can I be honest with you traveler?" Said Xiao while looking into Aethers golden eyes. "Yea, sure you're close to me after all." , "Aether, I love you." The raven said in a faint voice, the blonde boy looked outside while blushing, "Please forgive me for this xiao. " said Aether as he grabbed the yaksha and gave him a passionate kiss.
