A woman with brown hair ran through the dense forest carrying a sleeping infant in her arms.

???: Just a little further...

The woman stopped at a stone wall and wiped away some moss. She recognized the worn out logo and continued forward. She eventually came upon a door and entered. In front of her was a familiar elevator. She placed her child inside giving him a goodbye kiss.

???: Stay strong for me... And please stay safe.

The woman pressed the down button and watched as the elevator go down. She then exited the building and ran for about 30 minutes until she heard a loud crunch. She slowly turned and saw a man in a military garb.

???: Ironwood...

Ironwood: Hello, Chell. Running won't save you.

The man looked at Chell for a moment.

Ironwood: And where is the monster?

Chell: I had to make a sacrifice...

Ironwood: Then you can join your husband in death.

Ironwood pulled out his pistol and fired a bullet at Chell making grey matter splatter all over the forest floor. He then turned on his comms.

Ironwood: This is General Ironwood, both subjects are dead. Requesting pick up.

???: Arriving to your position in five minutes.

Ironwood turned off his comms before glaring at the corpse.

Ironwood: A mother sacrificing her own child to the Grimm to try and get away... You truly are a MONSTER.

Meanwhile

The large machine took notice of the elevator coming from the surface.

???: Curious...

The machine sent two of her robots to investigate. When they returned, she was surprised to see a human infant.

???: What is a human baby doing here?

The tall robot made a few noises before showing the machine the note that was attached. She began to read it out loud.

???: There is not much time left for me. The General had already killed my husband and I fear my child is next. I am putting Y/N into your care since you are the only one I can trust. The General can not be trusted. Your friend, Chell.

Anger almost filled her mainframe until she reread one of the lines.

???: 'Only one I can trust.' Very well...

She then decided to take care of the child as her own.

Elsewhere

The man groaned as his blue eyes were met with a bright light.

???: Easy there, I just got you patched up. It's amazing that you are still alive.

???2: Where am I?

The man held his head and felt bandages there.

???: Easy, you're at a hospital. You were found outside of the border when a bunch of hikers found you.

???2: Huh... Neat.

???: Do you remember anything?

The man thought for a moment before shrugging.

???2: Not really.

???: Well, you were shot in the Hippocampus. So you may have trouble remembering anything.

???2: Well that sounds bad. Oh! I think I do remember my name.

???: Oh? Then what is it?

???2: My name is...

Years later

Y/N ran through the testing chamber while holding a large cube over his head. He placed it on a red button making the door open.

Y/N: Victory!

Y/N moonwalked through the door stopping the timer.

???: You're time is 2:59.999, a new personal record.

Y/N: Thanks, Mama GLaDOS.

GLaDOS: Even after all this time, you still call me that.

GLaDOS appeared on the monitor, while a tall robot and short robot came in with a bottle of black liquid and a sandwich.

Y/N: Thanks ALAN, thanks P-body.

Author: Yes, I know his name is ATLAS, but in this he's ALAN for reasons.

GLaDOS: By the way, you got an letter from that academy you wanted to get into.

ALAN pulled a letter from behind P-body's back and handed it to Y/N. After reading it, he smiled and jumped in the air excitedly.

Y/N: I'm in! Sure we had to falsify what school I was in, but I can now be a Huntsman!

GLaDOS: I am happy that you can achieve your dreams.

Y/N: I will miss you.

GLaDOS: You do know you can meet me anytime.

Y/N: I know, I just don't want people asking me where I went and all that.

GLaDOS: I understand my son. Once my body is finished I can visit you whenever I want. Now, get some rest, you have a long week ahead of you.

Y/N: Yes mom. But I wanna visit her grave first.

GLaDOS: I understand.

He got on the elevator in front of him and pressed the up button. After a few minutes, the door opened revealing a large garden. Y/N made his way through the flowers until he came upon a single grave.

Y/N: Hey mom, I just wanted to tell you I got into a Huntsman Academy.

Tears filled his eyes as he continued to talk for a few more minutes.

Y/N: I really wish I could've met you. And I know you made a sacrifice so I could live. I just wish I could see you just once. Well... Goodbye for now.

Y/N walked away while wiping a tear from his eye. He got back on the elevator and it took him to his room. He looked at the time which read 10:45.

Y/N: Well, I have enough time to do some diagnostics on my prosthetics before bed.

Y/N checked everything. His legs were in working order, his eye was in perfect order, his right arm was functioning at optimal capacity, and all that was left to check was his internal organs. He took off his shirt and laid in his sleeping pod. He pushed a button on a nearby console and a beam from above began to scan his body. After a minute the machine stopped and popped up the results.

Y/N: Let's see... Left lung is good, hidden neurotoxin chamber is intact, cybernetics still connected to nervous system, and the audio receiver is intact. Well, guess that's it.

GLaDOS: It is 11 o'clock. Time to get into bed.

Y/N: Yes mom, goodnight.

GLaDOS: Goodnight, my son.

The lights in the room dimmed leaving Y/N's right eye glowing a faint blue before vanishing as he closed his eyes.

Well... Another universe I had to get out of my head. This is going to be my second crossover story. I know people are probably waiting on other stories such as "The Rose's Shadow", I haven't forgotten about them. Just trying not to follow the actual script to the shows too much.

Anyways, leave a vote, comment, and your support for the story.
