Y/N woke up to the beeping in his ear. He turned it off before letting out a yawn. He blinked a few times letting his left eye get adjusted to the light. He scanned his surroundings and saw that the others were just waking up as well.

Y/N: Well, guess we should get something to eat huh?

Cassandra: Sure.

Flame: I'm down.

Levos: I could use a pick-me-up.

The Team got dressed, letting Cassandra use the bathroom of course. When they were ready, they began to head out. When Y/N opened the door, there stood three people.

Y/N: Mom? What are you still doing here?

GLaDOS: I am assisting the headmaster in the anomalies, since he doesn't exactly have Atlas to give him the necessary information.

Ozpin: And I am here because I was informed about three anomalies appearing, and a certain group was wanting to investigate one of them.

Y/N rubbed the back of his head nervously, Flame looked away whistling, Cassandra looked down at the floor in shame, and as for Levos, it was hard to tell under his helmet.

Levos: So why is he here, Sir?

Levos pointed to Caboose, who was cradling a gun. Ozpin adjusted his glasses., before giving his answer.

Ozpin: He will be... assisting you.

Cassandra: A-are you sure?

Ozpin nodded.

Ozpin: Yes, while he lacks in the intelligence department, he make up for it tenfold in the strength department.

Flame: Well, while me and Cassandra could be considered adults, it would be better to have him help us if things go wrong.

Cassandra: I'm actually still pretty young.

Y/N: Wait, how old are you Flame?

Flame: Centuries.

Levos: Okay, buy how many?

Flame: Look, that's the only answer you'll get out of me, even my Ozpin didn't know my age.

Y/N: Ignoring that for now, why exactly are you allowing us?

Ozpin: Well, only you, those versed in magic, and those who came from other worlds can see the "cracks" in the air.

Y/N: I see, and considering that most of us here are from other universes, as well as being highly trained fighters...

Levos: Or in my case warrior.

Y/N nodded, acknowledging his teammate.

Y/N: Right, or warrior, we would be best suited since we are able to see the event happen and take care of it.

Ozpin: Correct, now the only problem I see is if the "entity" is stronger.

Y/N: Which is why my father would be best suited since my father, according to you, is an idiot, with strength to compensate for his lack of intelligence.

Caboose: I think I'm going to call you Crunchbite, the weapon that loves.

Everyone turned to see Caboose still cradling his gun. He then looks up and sees the stares.

Caboose: Did I miss something? Was it my glasses? Wait, no... I don't wear glasses. That's the guy who sounds like me.

Y/N: Alright then, we'll get some breakfast and then head on out. Mom, did you triangulate the position of our first target?
