-author 's note- this take place after kagome has gone home after the scared jewel was put back together and destroyed and naraku is dead for sure but the only difference is kagome never comes back ,and u readers live in inuyasha's forest ~

Reader pov ~
It was rather warm day for mid autumn. I lived in the deep parts of the forest . Where medium-high ranked demons would normally live . I'm not saying that we don't get low-ranking demons in our forest they just don't last long . I was a medium -rank demon , and the only reason for that is because I'm half fox demon if I were full demon I would be a high- ranking demon. But that is not what I was born with . I started to put on my short autumn kimono (in the picture ) after I put on the robe part of the kimono . I tie the obi tight to keep my kimono together . Next that I put my long (h/c) (your hair looks like the girls hair only in your hair color) in a low pony and then headed out to get food for the next week.
Inuyasha's pov~
I was walking around in the forest were kagome has first found me . I now look back on the days that me an kagome would fight over stupid little things. I miss her so much. Tears are now rolling down my cheeks . I go over to the river to wash my face , and what I saw was girl with what looks like fox ears and a fox tail. She had a short kimono with autumn leaves scattered all over it . She must have sensed me because she looked up and she had a confused look on her face like " why would a half demon be crying " look
She went hopping from rock to rock to get a crossed in a fast matter . She walks over and opens her mouth to say some thing
~readers POV ~
I sensed another half demon . I look up and I saw a dog demon or at least a half dog demon . He had tear stains down his face . I must of had a confused look on my face because he looks embarrassed by me looking at him . I flashed stepped (😉 bleach reference ) a crossed the river and walked up to him , and asked "what's with the sad face dog face" the inu demon face went from embarrassed to furious . I giggled and started running around the river with the inu chasing me .
~inuyasha pov~
I can't believe that damn fox called me dog face. I started chasing her . After 5 mins of running around I caught her . Before I was going to hit her I stopped . This reminded me the times of our journey together with the group. I smirked and laughed . I looked down and how I grabbed the back of her kimono is how I grabbed shipo when I chased after him . I put down the girl and asked her name .
~readers pov ~
The inu grabbed me by the back of my kimono . He was about to hit me till he stopped a smirked but then laughed . I was confused as to what's so funny . He put me down . After me feet were placed firmly on the ground he asked me what was my name . I looked at him with my mysterious (e/c) thinking of wither or not I should give my name or not . I decided on doing so " my name is (y/n) what is yours " he replied with a serious but childish tone "inuyasha "
I stuck out my hand well it's nice to meet u and see u smiling again.
~inuyasha pov~
She stuck out a hand for me to shake . With a smile she said it nice to meat u and see u smiling again" i shaked her hand ,and thought again what did she mean again . Out of know where she says I've been watching over u inuyasha making sure u were save . It was a request from your late mother .
