3rd POV
The group of six thought the week to follow would be like any other week but they were sorely mistaken. Serinuma went to school like any other Monday and was greeted by the 4 people in love with her, who as always were trying to impress her. She noticed a key person in their group was missing, Mutsumi. She looked around worriedly for any sign of the tall brunette but found none. "Have any of you seen Mutsumi? It's strange for him to not meet us out here," She said with worry in her voice. Nishina spoke up, "No, none of us have. Just before you got here we were talking about it." Igarashi nodded, confirming what she said, not that Serinuma doubted her. "Come on, guys. He probably went inside already to prepare for club activities or something," Nanashima spoke pretty unbothered by the situation, but the rest of the group couldn't shake the bad feeling in their stomachs. They went into the school and to the Japanese history club room to see if they could find him, but they had no such luck. Shinomiya and Serinuma had begun to get extremely worried as they walked to check that he wasn't in his classroom, which he wasn't.
Shinomiya and Serinuma got on their phones frantically texting their friend. Quickly after their search for the brunette the first bell rang signaling that they needed to get to class. Serinuma couldn't focus on the lesson, because she was too worried about her friend.

As soon as the bell for the break rang, Serinuma had her phone pulled out to see if she had heard anything from her missing friend. She opened her phone and saw two notifications, she started to get excited until she saw they were just from her older brother. Shinomiya and Nishina walked through the door a few minutes later which prompted Nana and Igarashi to go see if anything was heard from Mutsumi. "Did you hear anything from him?" Shinomiya asked, pulling a chair next to Serinuma's desk. The others looked at Serinuma hoping for good news but instead were met with her silently shaking her head.
The rest of the break was spent with the group having idle chatter to attempt to get their minds off the situation at hand, to no avail. Serinuma was able to get her mind off of the situation every once in a while when the boys would do something that got her fujoshi brain going, but it only ever lasted for a moment. Soon the break was almost over so Shinomiya and Nishina had to go back to their classrooms, and left the three on their own. The entire morning so far has seemed extra slow to them today because of the worry for their friend. They all sat silently for the last five minutes of their break thinking to themselves.
The bell signaling the end of the break startled them out of their thoughts and the boys went back to their seats. None of them could seem to shake the feeling that something was wrong.

When the lunch bell rang the class quickly cleared out. The group of 5 went to the cafeteria, they all quickly checked their phones, but found nothing. "Should we go see him after school? You know to see if he's okay," asked the youngest boy at the table. "Guys, it's only been one day. Why are we worrying so much?" the blonde said, ignoring Shino's question. Igarashi looked up from his food and stated, "Nana has a point, for all we know he just has a cold or something." Serinuma shook her head, "If he just had a cold he would have answered me or Shinomiya. So that can't be it," She put plainly.
"Well, what are we even supposed to do about it?" Nana retorted in a frustrated tone. Nishina looked at him with a dumbfounded face, "Dude, you act like we don't know where he lives. We can go check on him, idiot," She says while facepalming.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After school, they met at the history club room one more time to make sure he wasn't there, but of course, as they all knew, he wasn't there. Serinuma got her phone out and texted the rest of the club informing, there would be no club activities. "So what are you gonna say when we get there, huh?" Nana said with an expression showing annoyance. She looked up from her phone at the hot-headed blonde and shrugged, "I don't know, I guess whatever comes to mind."
They all talked more about the strange situation they have been placed in and made their way to the school's gate. They made their way towards Mutsumi's house trying to ignore the awful feeling they all had. After about twenty minutes of walking, they were in front of his house, and the group suddenly fell silent. The bad feeling they had all gotten was suddenly one hundred times worse.
They walked up to the house and knocked on the door, but no one answered. They knocked once more, but again no answer. "What should we do?!" Serinuma said, her voice laced with worry for their friend. Shino thought for a second, then said, "They probably have a spare key, let's see if we can find it." With that, they all started searching, except for Nana. "I found it!" Nishina said rather loudly. Serinuma took the key from her without saying a word. The entire group was worried, but her naturally compassionate and caring nature led her to be more worried than the others.
With a deep breath, Serinuma opened the door. She couldn't believe what she saw.
