Ch. 6 - Care to help

SHINOMIYA POV

It's been about a week since Mutsumi has been out of the hospital and there are still no leads on where his mother is. He's been growing more and more worried, though he tries to hide it his mannerisms give him away. I care about him so much and want to find a way to help him, but I don't even know where I'd start.  "Shinomiya, I'm going to my appointment," Mutsumi was already stepping out of the door as he said this, I said a quick goodbye as he left, therapy has been hard on him.

While he was at his therapy appointment I decided to make his favorite dinner and go get his favorite drink. Mom is out on a business trip for a while so Mu and I have the house to ourselves for a couple of weeks while she's away. Before I left to the store I threw a load of clothes in the wash, then grabbed my coat and wallet and started walking to the store. Once I'd grabbed the drinks I saw a magazine that looked like something Mu would enjoy (a history magazine) so I threw it in my basket before checking out. By the time I got home the load of laundry was done and it would only be about a half hour until Mu got home, so I decided I should probably start on dinner. While I was cooking dinner my phone pinged, when I looked it was Nishina asking if the whole group wanted to go to her house for a movie night this weekend:

Nishina: We should have a movie marathon Saturday night at my place. 

Nanashima: Igarashi and I are down, just let us know if we need to bring anything.

Serinuma: What are we gonna watch?

Nishina: Let's marathon cheesy romcoms!

Serinuma: Hell yeah!!

Before I put my phone down I decided to put some music on the speaker in my kitchen. "Hey Shi, I'm back," when I heard him come in I went over to greet him. "How did your appointment go?" I already knew what the answer was going to be, but I still ask every time hoping he'll open up. "It was okay," He said as he finished taking his shoes off. I decided to ask him about going over to Nishina's house later, he looked exhausted so I didn't want to bother him with it for the time being.

okay okay, I know its been like a year, I'm sorry. I just frankly am not really in this fandom anymore and find it hard to write for it, but I'm going to try to write in here more, if for nothing more that practice. I hope you liked the chapter!!
