Chapter 9 - His Past

CHIFUYU WAS CURRENTLY SITTING DOWN ON THE SOFA WITH HIS ARMS FOLDED, Fatigue was visible on his face. Sweat trickled down on his forehead as he tries to calm himself down,

He met takemichi this morning and had the chance to save him but no, his legs just had to give up on him.

'Where did it all go wrong? Oh.... right, it was that night.."

Takemichi was leading touman to fight tenjiku on a rainy night. They all got beaten up and bruised but all of them somehow was able to make an epic come back for toman.

As all of each members were busy with beating other people, kisaki took this chance to escape.

Takemichi of course notices and ran after him. They were both playing tag and takemichi was it.

When both boys finally came to a stop, kisaki took out a piece of block and smashed it in the already ruined face of the blonde.

Giving no mind to his injuries, the said blonde had only responded with a strong punch.

Out of nowhere, hanma popped in their little quarrel of giving each other punches and swung a what looked like a bat straight at takemichi, trying to buy time for kisaki.

Draken soon came into the picture and had let takemichi go after the blonde in glasses.

Takemichi ran after him and finally caught up, only to see a bloody scene. Kisaki got ran over by a truck but is still busy and stable.

He was crouching down with his left hand covering his wound on the stomach while holding the gun with the other.

The blonde in glasses pointed the gun right to takemichi and out of reflex, he swung his foot upwards causing the gun to fall out of kisaki's hands.

And without a second thought....

Bang.

Grey foggy clouds were covering the dim night sky as rain continued to pour on multiple people on the streets. Chifuyu had been looking for his partner everywhere, his saviour, his hero and his first love.

Bang.

That sound made the undercut haired male's face pale in fear. He had wished it wasn't as he ought it to be. Chifuyu ran faster, faster than he had ever ran in his life. He didn't wanna lose him, he never wanted the blonde to leave out of his life. Ever.

When he finally arrived at the scene, he saw takemichi holding a gun in hand with lifeless(or not, *wink wink*) kisaki before him.

His lake green eyes widen in disbelief, he couldn't believe that his partner was actually serious about killing kisaki.

Dont get him wrong, he would agree to kill that bitch in seconds but he hadn't thought that takemichi would really kill him.

The man already looked half dead before he shot him, chifuyu could clearly tell that kisaki already was a goner without the bullet in his head.

He approached takemichi and gave him a small pat on his left shoulder. Chifuyu's eyes widen in shock when he was met with takemichi's lifeless dull eyes.

Despite knowing damn well that he killed someone, he wasn't scared or crying like the crybaby he was.

Instead he looked emotionless and unmoving after staining his hands with blood.

'What happened between these two?'

Soon sirens could be heard, meaning that the police had already arrived. Hearing this, chifuyu took the gun and hid it somewhere in his pockets as he drags takemichi somewhere safe.

Loud foot steps could be heard from behind as they quicken their paces.

"TAKEMITCHY! CHIFUYU!"

The undercut male sighs in relief knowing it was just their leader, Mikey.

"The cops are here! Let's get moving."

'It looks like Mikey hasn't notice the change in takemichi yet... hopefully I'm just overthinking. Yeah, I must be.'

Chifuyu assured himself by repeating this in his head like a mantra.

Takemichi was confined in the hospital because of how badly beaten the blonde was.

All touman members visited every time they had, especially chifuyu. He was worried about the boys mentality after what everything happened.

The blonde had always reassured them and comforted them when needed, but did anyone ever do that to him?

He was burdened by their own sick futures when he could just walk out and mind his own business.

Takemichi was a person with a golden heart which was a rare treasure to keep. Chifuyu kept on asking him how he was, and of course as per usual takemichi would only say "I'm fine." with a smile that doesn't reach his ears.

And just like that, one morning when the undercut haired male woke up. Takemichi was missing.

When the nurse came to check up on him that morning, he was gone. Suddenly vanishing and leaving no trace of his existence except for the letter he left.

I'm sorry. It's best if I leave so don't ever come looking for me. You're futures are safe as long as I don't interfere anymore.

Thank you for the happiest memories I've made in my life. You'll no longer be endangered by you're own futures, I hope you all live a good life.

Draken san, please look after everyone for me. Especially Mikey.

Mikey kun. I hope you don't let you're inner darkness take over, please have a normal and nice life.

Chifuyu, thank you for always being by my side. I had fun, my forever partner.

Naoto, please make sure you and you hina are safe. I hope she finds someone better than me and please take care of yourself as well naoto.

It was fun while it lasted, touman thank you for the memories.

A tear slipped from chifuyu's lake green eyes as he reads the letter. He was gone. What does he mean he'd have a better future without him? Takemichi was his future.

Chifuyu decided to tell everyone on what he knows and what happened to takemichi. Time leap, their futures, that day and how he changed.

Ever since that day, everyone vowed to themselves that they'd find their crybaby hero and save him no matter what.
