The cries and screams began to fade, but I continued to regret everything. A bright white glow shined on my face. As I looked up and wiped my tears, a large screen started to unravel. Numbers started to appear on the screen like in the old fashioned tape recordings. Five, "My dear Arma Exitium!," a boasting male voice echoed around me, four, "I hope you haven't forgotten," three, "your purpose of existence."two

I sat up quickly. I'm in my dorm? I looked around. I was out of breath and I felt clammy. No one was in the bedroom. I got out of bed and stood up. How long was I asleep? I slipped out of my wrinkled school uniform and into my purple and blue polka dot pajama pants and gray hoodie. As I moved, I felt a cool metal press against my chest. It was my golden locket. This. This Thing. Just brings back memories of my past. I hate it!  I threw it away from me, hitting a wall and making a large banging sound. The locket fell from the wall and onto my bed. How long was I out? I looked at the retro analog clock on the desk. 11:57 pm. Rose must be out with a friend. My stomach yelled loudly. I grabbed a Five Dollar bill from my backpack and peeked through the door. No one, good. I crawled on my toes, that were stuck into my monkey socks, to the vending machines at the end of the hall. I squatted down onto my ankles to see the snacks at the bottom. Mmm, Twix, Snickers, Twizlers, or Lays Plain Potato Chips?
"  'See you're awake." a quiet voice whispered into my left ear.

"AAAAAAHHHHH!" I yelled out of fear as my body spazed out, slamming my face into the vending machine then knee-ing myself in the nose, and falling down onto my side.  I held my nose in my hands. I looked up to see a person face red, tears coming out of her eyes, from laughing so hard.
"Why are you out so late, Rose?"
" I was hangin'," she took a breath to ease her laughter, "out with my friends."
"Mhm, okay" I said, not playing attention, while still trying deciding on a snack. I chose the King Size Snickers. "I'm going to bed." I declared as I walked past Rose, waving my Snickers in the air.
I grabbed the cold, silver doorknob and opened the wooden door. I was  headed towards the bed but was stopped when I saw the locket. I picked it up, opened my drawer, and shoved the piece of metal inside.

Asriel wouldn't tell them, would he?
