Many things happened after Loki figured out that he wasn't truly Odin's son. Before the Frost Giants attacked, he that he was just another Asgardian.

That was until, a couple hours after the attack that he figured out that he was actually one of the Frost Giants.

Odin had fallen under something called the Odinsleep and Thor had mysteriously vanished, which meant that if Odin died, Loki would be king.

He had wanted the throne so badly that he'd went to the leader of the Frost Giants, not having known that that was his true father, and made a deal with him. He wanted him to "kill" Odin, and then he'd sweep in and be the hero.

Well...let's just say that everything ended up going wrong.

After the battle, Loki ends up locked in an Asgardian cell. The room around him was painted white and had one way glass covering one wall.

He must have been knocked out with something strong, due to the fact that it took him a bit to truly wake up.

Once awake, he felt something wrapped around his wrist. Upon further inspection, he realized that it was some sort of metal cuff. He tried to pull it off, but the cuff didn't even budge, it only got tighter, and tighter until he stopped. "Damn it." Loki yelled.

He couldn't hear any outside noise, which meant that the cell he was locked in was probably sound proof. This also meant that he didn't hear the sound of footsteps walking towards his cell.

Loki slid down the wall and onto the floor, staring at the glass in front of him in silence, when the door to his cell swung open. An Asgardian soldier walked into the cell, closing the door behind him so that it was now Loki and the guard in the cell.

"Now, you must be new here or something, because guards don't ever come into the cell with the prisoner." Loki said nonchalantly. The guard didn't seem to be listening to him.

"What? Are you here to tell me that I can't sit on the floor of my own cell?" The guard finally acknowledged him.

"For your crimes and for treason against Asguard, you are to be punished." The guard said, a hint of a smile smacked across his face.

"Punished?" Loki asked surprised, "What do you mean by punished? I don't even truly remember what I did in New York, though I do understand the treason part."

The guard didn't answer, instead, he pulled out something which looked like a collar.

"You're not thinking of putting that on me, right?" Loki asked, concerned about the situation that he was currently in.

The guard kept coming closer to Loki, the collar in hand. Loki tried to use his magic against him, but his powers didn't work. 'It's gotta be this cuff', Loki thought.

He started backing away, but didn't get very far, seeing as he was already against the corner.

"Hold still and this won't hurt a bit", the guard said menacingly. He locked the collar around Loki's neck and stepped back. "Good. Now things will be easier."

"Have you talked to Oden," Loki starts, "I bet you haven't. If you do, I bet you he'll have something to say about this "punishment" thing and how you shouldn't do it. I'm his son after all...right?" Loki tried to pursue him to go.

"Why would I do that, when it was Oden himself who told me to do whatever I saw fit?"

Suddenly, out of nowhere, came a shock from the collar around Loki's neck. It was such a powerful jolt of electricity, that his eyes went blurry from the pain. All he could comprehend was that he was on the floor, screaming from the pain coming from inside his body.

He could sort of see what looked like a button that the guard was pressing.

After what felt like forever, the jolt stopped, leaving a lingering pain throughout Loki's body.

"Maybe that'll make you shut up for a while", the guard said, leaving the cell.

The guard left Loki lying in pain on the floor. "You deserve this, you deserve this." Loki said to himself, trying to control the feeling of pain.

He sat himself up against the wall, wore out, and still in shock. The only thing going through his mind at this moment was that this wasn't the worst thing that was going to happen. He could tell that by the fact that this jolt of electricity was only meant to keep him quiet.

This guard seemed to happy about being able to torture him. How could Oden do this to him? He didn't even know half of what he'd done to deserve this. The only thing he remembered, truly, about New York, was the fact that he was there, tried to become ruler, and was taken back to Asgard. And that's just what the others told him.

'I should never have taken that Tesseract.' That was the last thought in Loki's mind before he fell asleep, unaware of what's to happen the next day.
