"There's a school of herring over there!" I reported. The captain received the news, he quickly turned on the engine and drove straight to the other side. I am preparing the net. They are also very old but still usable. Very quickly, we were nearby, the captain slowed down, as if receiving a signal, I swung the big net out to cover the whole sea. The herring quickly fit inside, they struggled in vain. I pulled hard, my whole body was covered in sweat, the fish finally settled on the boat

-Have you won a big batch now? - The captain is satisfied.

I nodded happily, sweat falling on the catch on the deck. With this fish, my whole village can eat in a day, along with other fish, we can have enough to sell to the mainland. The captain seemed to understand, and immediately launched the ship to the island of my village, Olinsk Island.

Olinsk Island, I heard people say that this place is the end of the Ukaran kingdom, located in the middle of the vast South Sea, where there are many resources, especially fish. It's my hometown, my family, where I grew up, where I grew up. Drops of water spread to the sides on the bow, they shot at me, bringing with them cold air, startling me. Before long, my ship was at the harbour, the other ships also returned, and we were docked on the embankment. I climbed ashore, brought the fish, we all brought the gifts of the ocean, and dumped them in the small shallow lake. Everyone rushed out to buy the fish they liked, and the freshest fish was sold out. I went to talk to people around, everyone was happy, about the fish, about the big lighthouses, everything was unusually busy. People are quite interested in talking to me, probably partly because I like to tell stories about what's out there. They have always lived on this island, have never been far from the harbor, I love them very much, sometimes they ask me to read letters from relatives sent from the mainland, I immediately agree, partly because of that. are the things I know, the rest because I love them. By midday, there were still plenty of fish. We help the captain bring the rest of the fish to the big boat, then he will drive the boat to Epyah island, from where the remaining fish are sold and brought back to the mainland.

My name is Pawat, my parents have not been with me since childhood, I live with my grandparents until now. I am studying at Epyah - a university in the central island of the South Sea. I am always praised by people for being smart and clever. I like art, especially architecture. Long ago, the great temples on the mainland, the ten-story buildings, the fields, the vast lawns, and the cold, but also warm, plateaus, the likes of which I have never seen. in these islands in the South Sea. I'd love to go, but our old ships, with their outdated engines, can't get far beyond the western horizon.
