this morning i came into the studio an hour early to work with the senior team since they were back from new york

our group was called empire and it was the same song i used for my solo last week just sung a bit differently like more upbeat and electronic almost and had a male and female singer

we started all center doing a few counts of stuff together then split it up with everyone doing flips before coming together again

the dance was in the open category and was honestly really fun and we all really enjoyed it

we soon all took a break and i sat on a bench drinking water with next to stephanie as the boys all sat in a circle with a piece of paper

"uh what are they going?" i asked her and stephanie laughed "ok so riley made list for james with 21 task and right now he has to solve this really
riddle." she said making me chuckle

"a really hard riddle, i may add." james raised his arm and i laughed

i stood up grabbing his task list and read it out loud for myself "A chicken, a sack of grain and a fox need to get across a river in a small boat, in which the farmer can only carry one item at a time. The fox can't be left with the chicken because it will eat it, while the chicken can't be left with the sack of grain for the same reason." i read and looked slightly confused

"see it's hard." james huffed but then it clicked in my head "oh, wait i get it." i said making the four boys eyes widen

"what do you mean your 'get' it. we've been on this for two days." west said and i shrugged "maybe i'm just smarter then you." i shrugged handing him the list

"uh your 15 and i'm 17 i think i'm a little smarter." james said and i scoffed "james we're in the same math and physics class." i told him and he looked dumbfounded as i went back over to stephanie

we all sat together as i did my mascara quickly

"sar, are you nervous about pyramid?" i asked as i sat beside her using my phone as a mirror

"yeah cause i don't wanna be kicked out again." she said "but abby also knows that, like, losing a bunch of people isn't gonna help us dance together." lily said

so she came back in to get sarah who went back and forth with her mother about letting her stay as she held in tears and finally she went upstairs

but abby decided no pyramid and went straight to the competition stuff

we were going to Sheer Elite in Cleveland, Ohio and group was called stone faced which hannah was the lead of and i was happy for her

there were two solos for ellie sarah and hannah but hannah's was offshow and finally the moms left and we went in the den to take our hoodies and shoes off

under brady and i both wore red aldc t-shirts and we went back in to start the group
