3 Jackets, 6 Dancers

DESTINY'S POV
abby and gianna had me come to the studio an hour early since we had a ballet number this week and i would be the only one on pointe

they taught me the whole routine and since it was only me we finished it early and made sure i had it down so i could help teach it

the girls and brady had finally got here and i changed into the army green leggings and army colored aldc jacket along with my army green low dunks

i sat next to brady while doing my hair into two french braids into a low bun and right when i finished abby called us in

we all glanced at each other noticing only 7 headshots and that's when i noticed ellie wasn't here

"why is there only seven?" sarah asked as abby rolled to her spot "all right, as you can see, elliana is not here." abby started as we all stood in our spots

"i asked her not to comeback. i don't want a scene. you saw what went on in that dressing room week after week after week. i do not want that representing the abby lee dance company. i think they need a break from all of this." abby explained

i honestly zoned in and out of this conversation until she talked about nationals "we are only four weeks away from nationals, and there is no way that the six dancers standing before me have a chance of winning nationals. and i say six because i know destiny can go out there on her own."

the moms scoffed at that but i just ignored it until she got to pyramid

"all right this week we are traveling to Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania to complete at
Imagine National Dance Challenge."

there was two three duets and the first one went to pressley and gia then the second one went to brady and lily "the last duet goes to destiny and hannah." she said and that surprised us but we smiled at each other happily for our first duet "it is called cry pretty."

"now listen up. i will be awarding team jackets to three dancers one from each duet that shines, that i feel is deserving to be a permanent member of the aldc." she told us making everyone smile surprisingly

the group this week was a collab which wasn't just for us but for the whole world cause it was based on angry birds 2 and called angry birds tutu and it was ballet ( which of course i already knew )

the moms went upstairs and we took our sneakers off and abby talked about the group ( fun fact we seen the movie last night )

"destiny, go get your ballet shoes." destiny said and i jogged in grabbing them and walked back in sitting down putting them on

brady got mighty eagle pressley got red lily got silver sarah got chuck hannah got.. a parrot and gia got the evil bird zeta "destiny you will be portraying the bird ella." she told me and i nodded standing up

abby sent me to get my pointe shoes making the girls confused and we started working on the group and abby had me demonstrate a lot of the of the dance and the team seemed quite confused on how i already knew it

i did some partner work with brady and when everyone was on the left side i went on the right and did five a la second turns on pointe into two pirouettes and three fouettés then 3 chaînés back over to the rest of them

TWO DAYS TILL COMPETITION
the next day all sets of duos stood in front of abby after the moms had brought in the diy nest for the group to keep them busy
