Future Invasion

1. The First Time Travel Machine.

'Well, what do you think' said Professor Jones. 'I think the Trans temporal travel device is quite extraordinary but it could use some design changes' replied Susan. What on Earth is a Trans temporal travel device I asked? 'It means Time Travel James' answered Susan. Oh I forgot to introduce myself. My name is James. Susan is my twin sister. She is also quite the scientist. Well she isn't technically a scientist but she does talk like one. Oh and Professor Jones, he was our science teacher back in college. Last night he called us to his lab to reveal his time travel machine to us. Anyway back to the conversation. 'I just invented the first time travel machine in the 71st century' Professor Jonas said. Suddenly an earthquake strikes. I grab onto a table and held onto it like my life depended on it. When the earthquake subsided Susan got up and switched on the news. 'According to our sources an alien army has declared war on planet earth' the newscaster said. Then suddenly there was another earth quake and me and Susan both blacked out.

10 days later

I woke up 10 days later and saw Susan looking at me worriedly. Then she told me that she woke up one day before me and alien have nearly conquered the world and that the region we are in is the only part of the earth not yet conquered. She also told me that Professor Jones has been killed and with his dying breath he told her that when I wake up we should use the time travel machine and try to change the future and then gave her a pen drive. Then I asked her if she saw what was on the pen drive and she told me no. I plugged the pen drive into the computer as she arranged a few chairs for us to sit on. This is what the pen drive said.

'If you are watching this video this must mean I am dead. What I want to tell you is that aliens have been arriving on Earth since 2021. This would make it easier for them to conquer the earth. My time travel machine will be able to send you into the past and you will be able to change the future. The only downside to that is that when you change the future only you will remember this timeline. Goodbye. I hope you do the right thing.
