Chapter 10 - Farewell

After a few more minutes of running, I found myself inside the forest.

It was dark along with the trees branches rustling back and forth which made it even more scary.

I then decided to sit on a pile leaves criss crossed.

I rested my head on my hand, closed my eyes and just thought everything throgh answering all my unanswered questions.

Do I forgive Baekhyun?

Was his father right about all these secrets about being a vampire?

What else his Baekhyun hiding from me?

As I sat on the pile of leaves, I felt a presence near me causing my body to shoot up and look around yet, no one was there.

"Hello?" I called out.

No response.

Literally dead silence.

I then resumed back to my thinking until,

"Young."

"AHHHH!" I screamed before trying to stand up but, failed to as I was falling back to the ground again but, landed in someones arms.

"Are you okay?" The familar voice asked.

"That voice.." I said only audiable to my hearing.

I softly pushed up from the mysterious person who caught me, turned around and was quite shocked to see him once again.

"Sehun?" I questioned.

"Yeah?" He said bluntly.

"What are you doing here again?"

"Wondering around and hey, im bored."

"I doubt that." I scoffed.

"There has to be a reason why youre here at this exact time and how you know im here."

I added on.

"Perhaps.. are you a stalker?'

"Excuse me?" Sehun questioned with a stern tone to his voice.

"Did you call me a stalker?"

"Uhm well yeah."

"Why?!"

"Well youre not telling me the real reason why youre here so might as well call you one."

"Says the one that had a crush on me." Sehun scoffed.

"Oh please, that was one year ago. Im happily taken by.."

I stopped talking as soon as I realized what happened earlier that night.

I held my hands together trying not to show my weak side to Sehun.

Or even give him a hint that something was wrong between Baekhyun and I.

"Young.. Are.. are you okay? Did something happen between you and-"

"STOP!" I yelled making Sehun flinch.

I dropped to the floor on my knees as tears started to flow down my cheeks.

Immediately, I heard foot steps coming near me.

Sehun lifted my head up and he used his thumbs to wipe my tears away.

"He.. he used me Sehun! Byun Baekhyun used me so he could become a human and just leave a vampire! He lied to me! He led me on! He never loved me!" I said as I sobbed on Sehun's shoulder.

"Dont worry, youre gonna be fine. I promise okay?" He told me.

Sehun then picked up my helpless body bridal style and he started walking making me think we were heading out of the forest.

My vision was blurry due to my tears but, within a few mintues I could see the Byun residence.

But, little did I know that Baekhyun was watching from afar.
