BOWMD: Secrets From The Past [ EXO Baekhyun ]

Chapter 1 - Problems

It's been exactly one year since all the chaos happened. Even though I may be a vampire, that didn't stop me from living like a normal human being. Yes, I may feast on human blood but it's better than eating innocent souls like my mother did.

How's Sehun doing you ask?
He's doing fine. Living like a human being like Baekhyun and I but he's a demon.

Ever since that day, Baekhyun and I graduated from high school and moved on to College. Keeping this secret from my friends is pretty hard and making excuses why I can't eat food anymore.. Let's say I told them I'm a vegetarian now.

Enough about that backstory. What's really irritating me now is that ever since we came back to earth, Baekhyun has always been out or making excuses. I know he's up to something but I don't now what. It bugs me how much he lies to me these couple of months yet I act like nothing is wrong.

It is now midnight and he still isn't home. I stay up all night until he comes home so I know he's safe. Since it was already late, I decided to crash on the couch. Next thing I know, I fell asleep within minutes.

I was then awoken to sounds coming from the kitchen. I lazily sat up my torso and yawned while squinting my eyes.

"Baekhyun?" I asked.
"Yes?" He replied rather quickly.
"It's past midnight, where were you?"
"I stayed at school to study for my math exam."
"But that doesn't mean you have to stay there all night."
"You know I'm not good at math. I need extra help you know."

He then sat next to me on the couch and pecked me on the lips.

"I missed you." Baekhyun said before snuggling his head into the crook of my neck.
"Baek listen." I told him sternly.
"What is it babe?"
"Were you really at school studying?"
"Of course. Why would I lie to my own girlfriend?"
"I just have a feeling you're lying to me that's all."
"But I'd never lie to you."
"Promise?"
"I promise. Now let's go to bed, I'm tired."

Baekhyun carried me up the stairs bridal style and we fell asleep in each others embrace.

--- Next Day ---

I woke to the bright sun shinning in our bedroom.

"Good morning babe." I said a loud.

No response.

"Babe?"

I then turned around to see nothing beside me. His side of the bed was clean. I got up and went to the closest. Most of his stuff was gone.

"What the-"

I noticed something on my night stand. I quickly ran up to it and started reading.

"Dear Young,
You may be startled why I didn't tell you this earlier. I'm going back to EXO Planet to do things I need to take care of. Ill be back soon. I love you.
From your fearless light,
Baekhyun."

I crumbled the paper up and threw it onto the floor.
Baekhyun you're hiding something from me and I'm gonna figure out what it is.
