Chapter 7. Being weird

Alexis Pov

2 Days Later

"Cocooo" i shouted on top of my lungs since the blonde head girl was blasting music so loud i bet the whole neighborhood could hear it. Soon the tall girl entered my room "yesss" she said with an amuse smile, "urgh can you just help me find something to wear for the date"
yes.
I said DATE.

Who would have thought a girl like me, the girl someone that barely talks to people will be going on a date. When Jason said he was going to ask me something a million scenarios went through my mind "Did he find out about my family??"

But when he asked me out i was beyond baffled about why he wanted to take me out, of all the girls why me. Nevertheless i said yes, i mean he is kinda cute and i do enjoy his company alot, he doesn't have a huge ego like the rest of the boys I've seen around, i also kind of felt bad when i thought of Amy.

One hour and half later i was finally ready i am wearing a navy blue spaghetti line blouse with a short navy blue with flower prints skirt. I decided to put on two of my favourite necklace, one has an infinity sign in it which was given to me by Toby's mum and the other one has a small ring in it, i am also wearing a pair of my favourite black sandals.

I applied some lipgloss. I'm not really a big fan of makeup only because I always end up messing it halfway through the process or i always end up shading one eyebrow darker than the other one or i would apply too many mascara don't even get me started on the eyeliner i DON'T know how to apply that, no shame. I always envied people that does their make-up perfectly like i wish i could do mine just like them too.

I'm Standing infront of Alexis door, it's time to put the plan in action.

On the other side of the door i saw Jason standing there in all of his glory, he was wearing a black shirt that showed off perfectly his muscles along with black jeans.

I'm currently back home, i actually had fun. We bought pizza at a local pizzeria called Sam's Pizzeria and their special of the day was an octopus pizza at first i thought it would be disgusting but as soon as i ate a piece the taste made my mouth watered more, and then we ended up at the Coffee Club where i ordered a medium chocolate milkshake with brownies and Jason a Vanilla milkshake.

Afterwards we ended up on the beach sipping our milkshakes and staring at the stars.

I learned a lot about of him, about how he had to start working at the age of fourteen to help raise his siblings turns out hr has a younger brother and he's 20 which makes Jason only two years older than him as he is 22.

On our way back to the house, I notice he was lost in his own thoughts and he kept on glancing behind us as if someone was following us or he simply just didn't want to be seen with me.

I cleared my throat, "Is there something wrong?". "What!? No everything's fine" he said..he was acting weird and nervous, i shrugged off that thought and we were already at the front off the house, as i turned around to look at him i saw a shadow moved so fast behind a bush that i thought i was seeing illusion.

"Soo we should do this again, i had fun" he said with more confidence compared to earlier when he was asking me out. "Yeah of course, how about Wednesday we go to this cute ice-cream parlour? My treat this time" i said.

Afterwards we bid eachother goodbye, i ended up having a long relaxing bath and going straight to bed since i have class early tomorrow.
