Jabse tere Naina

Chapter 2

Naina is thinking over Sujal's deal with Archi's Dad. She feels that it won't well. Also being a self sufficient person she doesn't like the idea of business in return of marriage.

Sujal knew that she is uncomfortable with it.

He got up to leave as he have some meetings lined up.

"Chal mai nikalta hu. Fir milegi na?", he asked hopefully.

She nodded thoughtfully.

He is disappointed with her response. It felt to him that he had let her down too.

She started to move towards the door when Naina called, "tune kuch paper work nahin kia hai na ab tak regarding it?".

He got startled, "nahin. Vo to see think shadi ke bad hoga. Abhi I just have power of attorney".

"Ok", she sighed.

"Dekh you know that my instincts are right. Mujhe na kuch fishy lag rha hai. Please I am not asking you to give up anything but just listen me out", she said desperately.

He nodded.

"Just don't sign anything ok. Also don't commit for marriage right now. Tell them ki you are just looking after their business. Power of attorney bhi vapas kar de"

"Par he will be suspicious", he said scrunching his hairs.

"Ho jane de. But don't get into anything now.....Dekh main ye nahin kah rahi ki play Sujal on them...be nice...be charming...convince him idiot", she tried to make him understand.

"Par you know right I can't deny them....I don't have a standing. I need money for this fight Naina", Sujal said stomping his feet.

Naina pursed her lips over his remark, but that a fight for another day.

"Halwa please. Let me work out other options ok. I am not asking you to give up on your option either. I am just asking for time", she tried to argue.

"Par main Piyush ko barbad kar dena chahta hu Naina. Bina paison ke ye mai kaise karunga. Usne mera sab kuch mujhse chin lia hai Naina.....tumhe dikh nai rahan bina Archi ke sadak pe aa jayunga mai", he shouted in frustration.

She ran up to him and hugged him immediately.

"Halwa.....I know ki you are in bad space. But I am just trying to help you to not be in a worse place"

"Mujhe farak nahin padta....mai barbad bhi ho gya na Naina to bhi bas Piyush ki barbadi ke bad...mujhe koi gam nai iska", Sujal said in his typical pissed of tone.

Naina felt like banging her head on the wall. What happened to his friend?

"Sujal .... I know what's your aim and it's my promise we will make his suffer. But in exchange of my ask", she said like she meant business.

"You also know I can make him suffer like no other", she said with a smirk.

He couldn't help but take her seriously. After all she knew Piyush and looking at their history, she really can make him suffer.

Also he really wants Naina back in his life. He is currently so lonely that having a friend back is the best feeling ever.

He kept staring at her. He still feels it risky to trust her but still he wants too. After all he also wants a respite from this pain.

"Ok. I give you some time. But I won't deny it"

"I am not asking you too", Naina smiled in relief.

"Aur ek bat. Don't tell anyone about me yet. Archi ko bhi nai", she warned him.

"Kyu?", he raised his eyes on this strange request.

"Because I want to stay away from that psycho circle of yours", she said making a face.

"You should", he agreed.

"Chal ja kam kar apna. I will wait for you at dinner....aur jyada ummeed mat rakhiyon. Kam hai mujhe bahut. Khichdi banayungi bas", she said from her door.

He chuckled from the staircase.

That short meeting with her made his heart feel so light. He couldn't even remember that ugly face off with Kashish...off Kashish....why he had to remember her again....here goes all his good mood.

He is again with his sulk face.

"Piyush...tum samajhte kyu nai ....Sujal chahe kitni bhi koshish kyu na kar le...hum dono ke bench duriyan nahin la sakta", Kashish said looking on Piyush's reflection in mirror.

Piyush is standing behind Kashish, who is getting ready.

"Darta hu mai Kashish tumhe khone se. Aakhir itni mushkilon ke bad to cheeze kuch normal hui hai hum dono me. Mai chahta hu ki sab thik rahe bas", he replied with a frown on his face.

She turned to look at him, "Agni ko sakshi man ke ye rishta joda hai maine Piyush. Mai ise kabhi nahi tutne dungi. Chahe Sujal kuch bhi kar le, jeet humesha sacchai ki hi hoti hai".

( I know dialogs are crap. But yar jhel lo. Maine bhi kuch episodes jhele to bring kahin to's essence in the story 😝)

Archi: Dad ab Sujal man gya hai shadi ke lie to why are we waiting?

Archi's Dad: Archi sabar rakho thoda. He agreed but he is still hung over in his past.

Archi: mujhe isse koi farak nai padta Dad. I just want to seal the deal. Ek bar uske dil me Kashish ki nafrat kam hui to humare rishte ko khatam hone me waqt nahin lagega.

Archi's Dad: aise rishte ko kyu bandhna chahti ho Archi?

Archi: Kyuki vo meri jid hai Dad. Agar vo nahin to koi bhi nahin.

Her Dad shakes his head over this obsession of her. He knew it's wrong....this relationship is wrong but he can't stop this...he felt like he failed as a parent.
