"So yeah. Big B thought about you request to stay back in the company but as he said in the meeting, you can't stay as board of director", Rishi told Kashish.
He volunteered to tell her this and Sujal happily agreed. He wanted to stay away from this. Agreed he handled her well last time but then who knows..
"So? Kya kahna chahte ho tum?", Kashish asked.
"Fortunately a new executive VP joined us for sometime. I think you can assist her. She is really good so you would learn a lot. Because tumhara koi prior experience to hai nahin after all", he said with a snark.
Kashish looked at him in disgust but couldn't say much. Truth is that she wanted to stay in the company too much to care. After all at home, playing the Raheja's daughter in law all the time is tiring. Also there is Vasu...her MIL. She don't how long she can survive her.
"You have to report to meeting room 1B. She will be waiting for you there", Rishi said.
Kashish nodded after all she doesn't have much choice.
She is in tears over this behaviour. This is just too much for her. How can they do this with her?
She is sitting on the stairs, sniffing. Being a high rise building, stairs are occasionally used by anyone.
Piyush came there to complete one call and saw her.
"Let me call you back", Piyush disconnected the call.
"Kya hua tumhe?", he took a seat besides her.
She shakes her head.
He hugged her sideways, "Kuch kahan kisi ne?".
"Bat ki thi tumne Sujal se?", he asked.
"Han. Lekin usne mujhe sidhe mana kar dia ki vo mujhe board of directors me nahin rakh sakte hai", she said wiping her tears.
"Ohh...he said no to me as well", he said gently pressing her shoulder.
"Aj Rishi aya tha kahne ki I can continue working here but as an assistant to some new VP", she told him.
"New VP? Kisne join ki hai company?", he wondered.
"Tumhe uski padi hai? Ye nai dikh rha ki I am being cornered here", she complained.
"I know Kashish. Tum to janti ho na Sujal bas badla lene ke lie koi kami nahin chodega. Rishi to tum janti hi ho humesha Sujal ke hi taraf se bolega", Piyush said.
Kashish sniffed some more, "ghar par bat kar Ke dekhe? Shayad Dad samjha paye Sujal ko...after all I am Kashish Raheja...mai kisi ko assist karu...it won't look good for the family".
"I don't think anyone can help Kashish. Chetan Uncle ne use ghar se nikal kar apna aakhiri hathiyar bhi use kar lia. Ab Sujal ko kisi bat ka dar nahin hai, uper se yahan vo Managing Director hai", Piyush said looking at her.
She looked visibly frustrated.
"Tum chaho to bat kar ke dekh lo. I am not saying no to you. I just said what I felt", he tried to salvage the situation.
Kashish got up, wiping her tears and left.
Piyush kept sitting their thinking what his wife will do next.

"Where is my schedule?", Pragya asked Kashish.
Kashish is looking at her clueless.
"What happened? Tell me where is my schedule?", Pragya asked again.
"That's a job for secretary", Kashish replied.
"And you are an assistant. Right. But I can't have so many people working for me on a temp job. So get me my schedule", Pragya said looking directly at her.
Kashish gulped and went to get her schedule printed.
Pragya shakes her head in frustration whereas Rishi who is overlooking this went in a fit of giggles.

"So Kya plan hai aj ka Big B?", Rishi asked Sujal who is drowned in his files.
Sujal looked up confused and then smiled at Rishi.
"I am thinking of planning a surprise for her. Islie subah se wish bhi nai kia use...it was so funny to see her pissed off face", Sujal chuckled.
"Maine to kar dia wish Naina ko. Are Yar. Pahle batana tha na", Rishi smacked his head.
"No worries. Acha hua kar dia. Varna use shaq ho jata", Sujal said scanning the files again.
"She is actually very angry on you. Mujhe kaha khabardar aapko bataya to", Rishi told him.
Sujal shakes his head, "pagal ladki".
"To ye surprise exclusive hai ya hum bhi aa sakte hai?", Rishi asked.
"Shut up. Off course you can come. Kuch purane college friends ko bhi bola hai to come. Tu bhi aja. Kisi ko lana ho to unhe bhi le ana", Sujal said wrapping up his work.
"Umm...vo...can I bring Pragya?", Rishi asked.
Sujal looked up in surprise, "chakkar kya hai? Pahle you asked me to have her as a temp VP. Fir ab party me...are you interested in her?".
"May be...although I think she is too good for me", Rishi said scratching his head.
"Hmm...you are a good guy when you don't have that cool guy image to hold on to. I know ki you are affected by our parents relationship like me, but there are good relationships also. Don't loose hope", Sujal said gently pressing his shoulder.
Rishi nodded and left. Sujal is left alone to ponder over his plans for tonight.

"Ye guest room ki safai kyu chal rahi hai?", Vasu asked.
"Rishi ki friend rahegi vahan kuch dino ke lie", Veena replied overlooking the arrangements.
"To ab Rishi Apne one night stands ko ghar lekar aayega", Vasu took a jab.
Before Veena can say anything, someone else replied, "Kyu? One night stand karna sahi hai lekin uske consequences ko ghar lekar ana galat hai?".
Vasu looked at the person and shocked beyond measure to see her there.
"Tum?", Vasu mumbles.
"Jee mai Pragya. Although i don't owe you an answer but I am not a one night stand of Rishi...", she replied with a smirk.
All the color and blood is drained from Vasu's face.
"Kya hua tumhe? Thik ho?", Vaani asked in concern.
Vasu nodded and left the room immediately.
"Tum dono ek dusre ko pahle se jante ho?", Veena asked Pragya.
"No. We have never met before", Pragya replied with measured words.
Veena can smell the smoke. She is sure that Pragya is hiding something from them but of course she can't insist.
"Tum aaram karo. Mai baki sab dekhti hun", Veena took a leave from there.
She is concerned about how Vasu has reacted so she went to look for her.
Vasu's room is locked from inside and she can hear her hyperventilate.
She was about to knock when she realised that maybe there is more to Pragya than Vasu and Pragya are admitting.
