In a world of discernment and discrimination, survived a young lady under a deep injustice of torture and suffer. A living inferno her not so father situated her in. After a beloved childhood she had, full of joy and pleasure. Cheerful days spent with the parents of her own. Her father, her pride, the one that brought the smiles upon her face, the happiness in her heart, the beautiful memories in her mind. Though, his fate wasn't prepared, his departure was unseen, and his goodness was forever gone.
A mother that despise the grief her husband had left behind, the pain it left her daughter in; fell in love with a not-so-known man.
Leaving the only household that young lady grew up in, separating her childhood from her future, throwing behind the memories of her father. Moving into a new beginning, a start with a new person she mustn't trust, yet one she must obey. Her stepfather.
Living in a family, she felt like she never belonged to. Being forced to be someone she didn't want to be, obliged to follow other's rules; trapped. Imprisoned in a bird cage with her wings expurgated, banned from the freedom of life. She was never allowed to command nor define. Her thoughts, her feelings were forbidden from expression.
A habitat full of darkness and mystery. A deep secret that kept hidden from sight. Suspicious movements here and there, statues that hid enormous meaning, an anonymous basement she wasn't allowed to attend to; though not such a suitable rule for such a curious adolescent to obey.
She was given a list of rules she must follow, along with chores she must ensure. Nonetheless, of the needed love and affection her stepfather didn't show to her. He was a cruel man with a bare dark heart that couldn't love nor show any emotions. Grew out of him a selfish arrogant man that abandoned and neglected his family. He demanded, he disrespected, he harmed. He filled his family's lives with corrupt verbal bombshells that left that young lady wounded. The pain and the suffer he's put her mother in, the horrific words he's said to her, and the injustice he made her live in, only left her daughter more traumatized and left her heart stung with hurt. It saddened her lots observing the tears of her dearly loved mother fall like rain on a depressed winter morning. Her soothing moans as she struggled to breath. The fact that she couldn't ever do anything to get her out of that misery, broke her into pieces.
The mother loved him, she fell in love with a man that tortured and ruined her life. She cared for him, she was eager to build a new family, love someone new, start a new beginning; move on. Yet, she fell into the traps of a monster.
A monstrous human that felt no pity for a single soul, but only felt pleasure among his power. The egotism that ran in his blood left behind trails of tears that held supreme amount of ache. The mother and daughter lived their wretched lives in such desolation throbbing and sobbing all of the time, hoping for a single soul to realize the pain in their eyes. Though, the atrociousness of his evil eyes held threats, words couldn't ever hold. Intimidations that held captive of their fears and their freedom to call for help. For, it was a torturous existence they couldn't escape living in.
Once upon a misery, came a day when the young lady's stepfather went to his work as he daily does, and coincidentally, her mother had left the house too. Remained there alone on that rainy day, gloomy gray clouds roaming the skies holding tons of water drops in the depth of their cores. The foggy windows that permitted no eyes to observe the outside of the world. The sound of raindrops falling upon the rooftop, shattering above the grass on the front-yard of the house. The jump-scare sounds of thunder rumbling in the deep silence of nature.
Came upon her the curiosity to pass by the scariest yet most inquisitive part of the house. The darkness of the place took upon the depth of the fear that consumed the house. A creeped hallway that linked the basement entrance to the hallways past the kitchen. The young lady has never passed that hallway of distress. For, the very first of her stay there, she's decided to make that turn.
Came upon the fear that ate her, a corrupt feeling that woke her up. She picked up a lantern that stood on one of the wooden tables in the kitchen, then made her way to that hallway. As she reached the passage past the basement door, a horrific thus far disgusting smell arose from the invisibility of thin air. It hit her face like a tornado swallowing her soul. She rose her hand up to her nose preventing the sickening odor from being the only air she breathed.
The smell's density only accelerated the more she marched closer to the door. A strong sensation of cramp upon her stomach captured her attention, and a robust clump of vomit formed in the top of her stomach. Though still holding it back and continuing her march to the door.
The petrifying feeling that ran in her blood as she opened the door wide open, elevated her interest in going down the stairs. The dark view made her pupils blink in dimness though her eyes were wide open. She stretched her right arm where she held the lantern and moved it towards the blackness.
She reached the end of the stairwell while she struggled to make a second step with her trembling legs. Her shaking breaths increased as terror grew in her heart stirring the lantern here and there. An alarming secret grew and immediately stroke her heart as it sank under the deepness of a sinking ship in the unending ocean.
What her eyes saw, no other could ever imagine. Past a wooden table occupied by dozens of deadly weapons; hammers, knives, blades, daggers and bayonets, stood a mountain of piled and folded up sacs of heavy bodies dripping blood all over the place.
As in a blink of her eyes an evil voice arose from across the stairwell, echoing through the whole basement leaving a tremor in her body. "Oh poor Emma, you shouldn't have come down here," her stepfather came out of the dark. As he came closer to her, a flash of her terrific and miserable life flashed behind her eyes, leaving the memories and the beautiful moments behind. For, she was the latest addition to his ruthless collection.
