The first picture is a representation of what Daiyu is doing in Chapter 2, except Daiyu is shooting two balls of flames. Daiyu can will flames from her hands, or any body part for that matter, when she concentrates on doing so. As she learns to use her powers more, she'll no longer have to concentrate on it. She can also control flames that are already burning, such as flames from a candle or a lighter.
