Rising of the Mask

In the world, you must keep your identity a secret till you've found your true love. This was done as some people would just get with you for looks. The only people who would ever see your face if they were related to you. Once you had found your true love, you could show the world your face though some never did find their true love. Love at first sight it was told to be, but some just dismissed this as people's lies to force you to be with someone.
Once you found the person you were destined to be with and your eyes met, you would know that you were meant to be with them. You would also get a binding mark. It would appear it your lover's favorite color and it would be the same shape.
Our story starts with a girl. She has bright blue eyes, light brown hair that goes down to her stomach, and has an abundance of kindness. She try to be nice to all she meets though she might not like you so much if you're mean to her or those she cares about. Her name is Demanda meaning fit to be loved and lovable. She is 15 and has a small friend group at school as she isn't one of the popular kids. She goes to Omphalic High with her friends Bly, Faye, and Mallory.

As I walk to school on Monday 11/29, I see Bly and Faye. They're my best friends and have been since primary school. We met our friend Mallory about a year ago when she moved from Tallahassee, Florida. She didn't have any friends and looked lonely, so we decided to befriend her. Mallory has long blond hair, ice blue eyes, and is a bit snappy. Our school, Omphalic High, is in Temecula, California. Bly is taller than the rest of us, has short, black hair, honey brown eyes, and is super friendly. Faye has blonde to her chest with has dark blue tips and has bright green eyes. She's super loyal too.
I have most of may classes with my friends. First, I have my elective class which is Choir. I love to sing, so I thought it would be a fun class. I have that with Bly and Faye. For second period, I have science class with Faye. Afterwards for third period, I have a study hall with Bly. For fourth period, I have social studies with Mallory . For fifth period, I have ELA Lab with Mallory and Bly. For sixth period, I have math with Faye and Mallory. For seventh period, I have ELA with them all.
We all have yet to find our true loves, so we are yet to see each other's faces. I have an orange mask as it's my favorite color. Bly has a pink one for the same reason. Faye's favorite color is dark blue, so her mask matches her hair tips. Mallory's mask is black, gold, and rose gold, but we are yet to find out her favorite color.
I walk to class with Bly and Faye and await the start of class. We sing Christmas songs as our Christmas concert is coming up on the 14th next month. We're singing White Winter Hymnal, Joy to the World, Carol of the Bells, and Sisi ni Moja. I can't wait for the concert, though I'm a bit nervous. I also have a piano concert that I practiced for since before Halloween. I'm playing Rocking Around the Christmas Tree. I'm also singing it at my concert on December 5th. When I go to science our teacher, Mrs. Hunter, she had an announcement.
