'Your pov'
*Sigh* "I can't believe we're going to be late, if only you didn't turn off my alarm clock," I complained. "Hey, what can I say, I wanted to sleep in." James said seeming to be extremely relaxed about the situation. "But on a school day!? We're on the top of our class we just can't 'sleep in'!" I half yelled at my idiot miester.
"Come on, relax (y/n) what's the worst thing that could happen, just for being a little late to school?" He calmly said as if it didn't bother him. I lift my right arm and look at my watch as we approached the stair to the DWMA. "That's, that's just great it's 7:59 we're an hour late." I exclaimed as I looked up towards the school and began to walk up the stairs. "Hey (y/n) don't get upset, we're James and (y/n) one of the greatest weapons and miesters here at the academy." James came closer while nudging my side trying to cheer me up. I chuckled at his attempt and smiled.
"Who are we!?!" James asked with a big smile on his face. "(y/n) and James?" I replied a little confused and looked at him. His smile was replaced with an expression that seemed both a little disappointed by my reply and what I can only explain as 'really'. "Who are we" James repeated. "James and (y/n)??" I said wondering if that was the reply he wanted. He hit the top of my head lightly. 'I guess not' I thought to myself. "No, who are we," he repeated hoping I'd finally understand. "(y/n) and James one of the greatest weapons and miesters here at the academy" I said hoping that'd be the reply he was waiting for. I grimaced waiting for another hit on top of my temple. I didn't feel a hit on my head but an arm around my shoulders I looked up abit confused. "That's it! Who are we now!" James chuckled. "(y/n) and James one of the greatest weapons and miesters here at the academy" I said louder than before. "Say it loud, say it proud!" James screamed while looking up still holding me by my shoulders. "(y/n) and James one of the greatest weapons and miesters here at the academy!" I screamed with more confidence. 'How is it that he always gets me out of any kind of bad mood' I thought to myself and chuckled.
"Alright let's get going befo-" he started to say until he got interrupted. "YAHOOO!" We heard behind us. "I know this voice" I mumbled under my breath. We turned around and saw Black Star,a few steps behind us and Tsubaki, Maka, Soul, Liz, Patty, and Kid behind him. "Yo Black Star!" James yelled at him. "Wassup James, long time no see!" Black Star yelled back as they high-fived. "Come on man it's only been a month." James said with a sly smile. "More like a month and 14 days" I tried to say quietly to no avail. "Aww did you miss Black Star, (y/n)" James looked at me giving me that sly smile off his while nudging me. My eyes widened and felt my cheeks burn a little. "N-no!" I looked away. 'Wait did I just see Black Star blush' I thought to myself. "W-wait no that's not what ment!" I looked at Black Star. "I did miss you, but I missed the others as well! " I waved my hands trying to get erase what I said and felt my cheeks burn more. "And well, welcome back." I looked down trying to clam down.
'Black Star's pov'
'(y/n) pretty adorable when she's flustered' I thought to myself slightly chuckled and placed my left hand on her head. "I-we miss you too (y/n)" I tried to smoothly say but failed, I felt myself blush a little. '(y/n) always seems to make me blush' I thought to myself while giving her a reassuring smile. "It's fine if you miss me more (y/n), I mean who wouldn't miss their God!" I slightly screamed. "Patty did we suddenly turn invisible or something?" Liz said behind me which made me turn.
"Don't think so sis." Patty replied back while checking if they'd actually turned invisible. "What are you talking about Liz?" Maka asked curiously. "Well it just seemed appropriate since we were all being ignored until now." Liz answered. I turned back and looked at (y/n) who's seemed to turn red in embarrassment which made me smile.
"Alrighty, let's get going to class I mean we're all late still." James finally said which snapped everyone out of their thoughts. "Right let's go!" Maka yelled at us and began running the last few steps. "No one out shines THE ALMIGHTY BLACK STAR!" I yelled running after her.
'Kid's pov'
"Shall we" I asked (y/n) as the others ran after Maka and Black Star. "We shall" (y/n) said sweetly and blushed a little as she smiled. I took her arm and produced to walk her in like a gentlemen something that asymmetrical oof wouldn't do.
We got to class, and the door was closed. Right before I opened the door I heard Pr. Stein say something about punishment for those who interrupted his dissection. "(y/n) what time is it?" I asked her releasing her arm from mine. "Oh, um 9:42, we should get in I know we're la-" I cut her off. "We only have 18 minutes left before break, let's just skip until then." I asked hoping to get this time with (y/n) alone.
"Um," (y/n) bit her bottom lip in hesitation. 'Is she trying to tease me' I thought to myself. "Alright, let's go" (y/n) said with her bright smile which made me happy. "Ok let's g-" I looked back at (y/n) my words trailed off. "(y/n), can I do something first" I asked. "Um, sure Kid" (y/n) said abit flustered. I leaned close to her and fixed her necklace. "There now you're perfectly symmetrical" I whisper still leaned in close to her. I looked up and saw that her cheeks are a bit red.
'Your pov'
Kid's breath sends a shiver up my spine. 'He's so close' I thought to myself. I felt my cheeks burn, I closed my eyes. 'I-is he going to kiss me? I mean I wouldn't mind wa-wait what am I thinking?!?' I opened my eyes and saw Kid looking at me and laugh a little. "What are you laughing at?" I exclaimed trying not to act flustered. "No it's nothing"he chuckled with a slight pink on his cheeks.
"Ok then let's go then" I said walking off ahead of him trying to relax. "(y/n) wait up!" Kid slightly yelled while trying to caught up to me. I began to walk up some stairs heading to the roof, once there I looked over the side. "It's so beautiful" I said just above a whisper. "I'll say" Kid said smiling.
