I wake up at dark with Soda back at my side. His eyes travel to mine and he gives me a slight smile. He has bags under his eyes. I probably worried him to death the day of the episode. She said my heart almost stopped. I can't imagine how terrified Soda must've been without knowing if I was gonna make it.

"I'm sorry..." My voice is scratchy, my throat still hurts.

He chuckles moving himself to sit up.

"No worries kiddo. I'm just happy you made it" He ruffles my hair softly.

Soda has always taken care of me. Ever since we met on that cursed boat years ago. He's like the father I never had. He may only be 15 years older than me, but he's shown me more love that my own father ever did as a child.

"Your uniform is on the desk, get dressed and come outside. We got a new assigned station from the Tsarista herself." I pause before getting up. The Tsarista personally gave us a station?
