okay yeah back to the story
Brenda Thomas.
"Umm... Uhh..." I choke on my words, "I like that guy with the sand bonde hair and hazel eyes who wears all the bandanas and band shirts. He's really hot."
Areli chokes on her drink and stares at me wide eyed. Mia and Leslie just look at eachother and start coughing.
"What? What? Did I say something wrong?" I ask suddenly terrified that they were going to hate me after what I said, they were the only real friends that I had and I've been at the school for 2 months. I couldnt lose them. At least not yet.
"No no no," Arelis the first one to respond, "you didn't say anything wrong." I relax.
"Umm Areli... What are you doing?" Leslie asks, "did something happen that you want to tell us about" she raises her eyebrow.
"No nothing happened... just didnt want to crush anyones dreams" she says looking down at her drink and playing with the straw.
"How about we talk about this on the way home yeah?" Mia says grabbing Areli and Leslie's hands, "we'll see you at school tomorrow Brenda" she walks out dragging the other two girls behind her.
"Well that wasn't weird at all" I mumble to myself as I finish my drink and walk out of the coffee shop and bump into a strong chest.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry I wasn't looking were I was going!" I say looking up to see a pair of dashing hazel eyes looking at me through thick eyelashes.
"It's alright love," the stranger says with a thick accent. OMG was he Australian?!?! "hey you're that new exchange student from Mexico right?"
"Yeah," I say blushing furiously, "my name is Brenda"
"Ahh thats what I thought. Well hi Brenda I'm Ashton" OMG he has a sexy name too! How much better could this get?!?!
"Hello Ashton" I giggle.
All of the sudden a bike whizzes past us, pushing me into him and forcing me to grab onto his large biceps. I could feel the muscles ripple underneath my fingers as he moves to keep me from falling. Dear god he was strong.
"You okay there?" he asks looking at me with those gorgeous eyes of his.
"Erm yeah fine" I say blushing and straightening my mini skirt, "well I better be going now" I say, trailing my hand down his chest and slipping a peice of paper with my number on it in his pocket and prance away.
Little did I know Areli saw the whole exchange...
