Chapter 44 // Sly

The explosion occurs around the fire daimyo's mansion, all the guest thought that was their end when a shield prevented the explosion to harm them.

Neji and Hinata fell silent after they saw nothing but a small version of the crystal barrier their sister had put up just earlier.

"Hinari...?"

Neji's wide-eyed gaze met Aka's worried one.

"I'm sorry Neji-sama, but allow us to explain."

Shiro apologized and carried the small yet heavy crystals on her left hand.

Neji sighed in defeat. "Shikamaru.. you decide if you were to heat them out." he demanded

Shikamaru nodded and thought for a while.

"First of all.. we need you to gain our trust, how are we supposed to trust you..?" he questioned

"Hinari-sama has a mark of a butterfly, the half wing of it has the crystals while the other one is normal. It is placed on her lower right hip." Aka stated

Shikamaru blushed. "H-how am I supposed to know If she does? W-"

"She do."

They turned to the owner of the voice and gasped.

It was Gaara.

"H-h-how'd you know that?" Naruto wondered

"Are you a pervert too?" Kiba asked

"You saying 'too' makes me wonder if you are a pervert  yourself." Shino sighed

Temari eyes him. "Why'd you know that Gaara?" she questioned

"When we bathe together few days ago, I caught a glimpse of it when she got up from the springs." Gaara answered

Ino, and Sakura gasped. "Ah- yes! She does have that! We went to a hot springs together once and both of us saw it, but it wasn't so obvious not if you don't at it for too long!" they stated

"I confirm it." Hinata and Neji said at the same time.

Shikamaru sighed and turned to Aka. "..I guess that's enough proof to trust you. Knowing there's no way  Now mind explaining on where on earth is Hinari and what happened just now..?" he demanded

Aka nodded and told them the exact same thing Kuro, Ao, and Chairo had explain to Hinari.

"--and this crystal here is them, Hinari used a technique where she made their appearances smaller and then shrink the crystal along with the two female to seal Kanashimi and fight her alone inside this." Aka sighed

Neji wanted to hold it but Shiro prevented him from doing so.

"No one must touch this except for us, we don't know what will happen if a pure human touch this. For now report this to your leader, we'll leave some messenger butterflies just in case you want to hold a meeting." Shiro said

"Where are you taking my sister then?" Neji asked

"Somewhere, where she could explode the crystal anytime after she defeated Kanashimi." Shiro answered and opened her own personal portal.

The white-eyed male didn't move an inch in front of her. "If she lost... what will happen?" he asked

Midori sighed and grabbed the crystals and entered the portal.

"She'll die, and then Kanashimi will have the full control of us." 

Neji's eyes widened by what the female stated, he looked back to find her but they had already departed the now devastated mansion.
