Cream~ (Xiao x Aether fanfic) [Coffee Shop AU]

Chapter 1: "My name is. . ."

  Today is Aether and Lumine's first day at the new coffee shop!

    They are about to meet their new co-workers for the first time~!   

[Aether's Pov]

Today is me and my sister's first day at the fancy coffee shop our friends have been talking about. I was nervous of course, but I managed to pull myself together and walk into the shop.

"H-Hello...? Is anybody in here? I'm here to see the boss... I'm his newest worker-" I stopped talking when I saw a boy around my height look coldly at me. His hair was in a small ponytail, and he was wearing some comfortable gloves.

"How can I help you...? Oh! You two are the new employees... My name is Xiao, please follow me. To Zhongli's office..." The boy said with a calm voice.

"Thanks, a lot! Go on Aether, say thank you.!" Lumine said while looking at me...

"Oh yea! Thank you so much! I'm very sorry!" I said while bowing!

" Whatever... I don't really care that you are nervous. But make sure you act somewhat tough around Kaeya, he's not that laid back... He's stricter on us... And I mean... REALLY strict!" Xiao said with a change of tone.

Xiao looked at me with cold but calming stare. He looked like he wanted to choke me while smiling. He was so confusing, but I can't help it but ask... 

"Uhm... A-Are you by any chance... S-Single...?"

"Yes..." Xiao said with no second thought.

"O-Oh okay!" I said with a small chuckle.

"Well...Before you visit the others, here is Mr. Zhongli's office." Xiao said while pointing at the door.

"I-Is he mean...?" I asked with a scared expression.

"Y-Yea... What Aether asked!" My sister said.!

"Actually no. He's really laid back and kind of cool." Xiao said while giving me and cute smile.

When me and Lumine walked into the office, we see a tall 6'6 ft man with long dark golden hair looking at paperwork... This must be Zhongli; he seems to be not caring about the work, since he keeps looking back at his phone.

"Are you two the new employees? Aether and Lumine, right...?" The man asked with a friendly tone.

"Yes Sir!" Lumine said while bowing.

"Since it is your first day... Ganyu and Xiao will help you know the basics. I hope you both have a good day~! Also, you can just call me Zhongli. I won't mind." Zhongli said with a calming smile...

"Thank you so much~!" Lumine said with a joyful smile.
