Steven and I went to the hospital to get oxygen tanks (just in case). The nurse taught Steven what to do if I blow up during the vacation. I am very happy that he can save my life and he is "certified". Whe packed a cooler with a 12 pack of Coke and 5 sandwiches. We packed 7 bags of chips and pretzels, and a few energy bars. We packed all of our electronics and clothes for 21 days and 5 days in a car. When we were about to leave when I saw my mom standing in the doorway. She said that we had to talk, so we sat down on the couch. She said "O dear, I love you so much and I can't let you live under a lie so here's the truth. Tour father never wrote you that letter, I did. He didn't even want to say goodbye, he was so ashamed. Whenever I see him at a grocery store-"
I cut her off "you mean he still lives in Florida after all these years. I can't believe you lied to me with something that important. You lying piece of shit! Why did you even write me the letter? Why did you keep it from me for 11 years? Why did dad never come to say hi or anything?!?!? I just can't believe it. Why are you so calm, your probably not even a druggie!"
"Well the truth better come out now. I was never a druggie nor will I. I wrote you the letter to show that your father still loves you because he does and I don't want you growing up thinking your dad just left. He didn't really leave, he just needed a break."
"An 11 year break!! I'm starting to think he doesn't love me or he ever did."
"As I was saying, he never came because he is married and felt that he'll break your heart to show up with 3 kids and a new wife."
I feel bad for Steven for having to listen to this. He shouldn't have to. I wish I never was born because I caused so many people problems that can't be fixed.
"Can you at least tell me where I can find him so I actually complete something in life." I muttered
"Well that's the problem, I haven't seen him in a few years so I have no idea where he is. Last time I saw him he told me he was 4 miles up the 6 miles to the right from our house."
At least I can still complete my "mission" on finfing my dad.
