The story of this hatred begins with the time of Yibo and Zhan's grandparents. Yibo's grandmother was Zhan's grandmother's parents adopted daughter. Zhan's grandmother never liked her sister , because of her ego she never wanted to admit that Yibo's grandmother was her sister.

Yibo's grandmother was excellent in everything, but Zhan's grandmother jealous of her in every aspects. Zhan's grandmother began to think that Yibo's grandmother had stolen everything from her. There was a reason for that one man who Zhan's grandmother have crush on rejected her love proposal and married her step sister.

After marriage that two sisters went to two families Zhan's grandma gone to Xiao family and Yibo's grandmother gone for Wang family. Wang family is not rich but an average type family. After marriage Yibo's grandfather started a small business, his intelligence and determination made his business grows each and every day. Wang couples blessed with a baby boy . They named him Wang Jun, he is smart like his parents.

Xiao family is rich and highly reputed family. They have family business, mostly school and colleges were owned by Xiao family. After marriage Zhan's grandma was proud of herself by the fact that she came to a very wealthy family. She was blessed with two sons , Xiao James and Xiao Fengmien. She never thought one day her opponents who she thoughted weak stand infront of her. Seeing them her anger and jealousy went high.

Wangs' business began to grow day by day. Yibo's grandparents worked very hard for it. But they did not know that their business partner was cheating on them. Unexpectedly one day the world came to know that the Wang couple died in a car accident. There was no one to adopt the orphan Jun, and his parents' business was taken over by others. He later studied and grew up in an orphanage.

Xiao James and Xiao fengmien know what their mother's relationship with Jun's family is. Both brother's know that their mother does not like her sister and her husband. Knowing this, the two brothers did not tell their mother about their friendship with Jun. Xiao James studied in famous college in Beijing. His parents wealth is enough for entroll him in that college. but In the case of Jun, nothing.

Jun studied very well and got scholarship and entrolled in same college as Xiao James. James and Jun both studied in business administration and Xiao fengmien studied music and art in their own college . Their friendship grew as the days went on. The other two beautiful girls in their group were Qing and Yu.

Madam Xiao didn't know her son's friend was Jun. But one day she knows the truth and tells her son's to broke their friendship. But they didn't broke their friendship, that angered her more. She try every dirty tricks against Jun, to prove her son that Jun is not worthy for their friendship. But both brother's know their mother better because they believe her hand in Jun's parents death.

After studies James married his college friend and lover Yu. Madam Xiao was were not happy with their marriage. She had agree reluctantly because Yu's parents were not rich but they have good job and income. Xiao Fengmien married Yu's identical twin sister who were diseased. Madam Xiao didn't know about Yu's sister's disease , after the marriage when she got to know, she was very furious. But her anger subsided when she know her second daughter in law was pregnant. After the second pregnancy her health condition worsend.

Madam Xiao always badmouthening Yu because she didn't get pregnant. James can't tolerate his mom's deeds so he left the family house with his wife.

In meanwhile James and Jun started new business. They named their company Wangxian. Jun already love with his college friend Qing. Qing's parents were not agreed to marry their daughter weds on an orphans boy. So she run away from her home and married to Wang Jun.
Xiao couple were the one who helped them. They buy two houses and started to live there like neighbours.
