"THAT WAS THE BEST MOVIE EVER", Boruto said jumping around. "No it wasn't, the plot made absolutely no sense", Sarada chimed in. Both you and Kawaki stayed silent, occasionally looking each other.
"Kawaki didn't the plot actually make sense", Boruto said. "Not really", he said bluntly. "You know what, fuck you", Boruto said turning his back towards him. "Kawaki rolled his flipping Boruto off".
*In the car*
"You and y/n have barely said a word to each other", Sarada said.
"For real, you guys need to stop being pussy's and sort things out", Boruto agreed.
Your head leaned on the cold window of the car looking out. You completely ignored Boruto and Sarada. The only thing that had your attention was what Kawaki said and did earlier.
"I'm not obligated to say a word to her", he said stepping on the gas. You rolled your eyes turning your face towards him.
"Oh so you're just gonna act like you didn't just call me pr-", your words were stoped by a single hand over your mouth.
"We'll finish this conversation later", he said uncovering your mouth.
"Oh shit", Boruto whispered.
The rest of the car ride was silent. Eventually the car pulled up in front of the Uzumaki residence. Boruto and Sarada left the car leaving you and Kawaki alone.
"I'll drop you off back home in a sec, I just wanted to-", he started.
"Talk", you finished.
"Mhm", he said looking down. His face looked kind of stressed. "I just haven't seen you in 4 years, so how have you been?", he asked.
You gently put a hand on his shoulder. "Not the greatest without my best friend", you smiled.
He slowly lifted his head up looking deep into you e/c eyes. His look was 𝐴𝑑𝑑𝑖𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒, he looked back down with a smile.
"I talked to my biological dad...", he said as his smile faded.
"Oh my god...how'd it go", you asked moving closer to him.
His arms started to tense, his hands were balled up, and his face was distressed. He looked up at you with small tears in his eyes. He looked angry but not sad.
"THE MOTHER FUCKER DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHO I WAS", he yelled.
You reached over the glove compartment to hug him. His arms wrapped around your waist, his embrace was tight but comforting. You tried to let go...
"Please just...stay for a little longer", he whispered. "Ok".
Your eyes slowly closed, feeling the comfort of his embrace. He did the same. This went on for
1 2 3 4 Minutes.
"Fuck, sorry", he said pulling away. "You're all good", you chuckled.
He took a deep breath. Turning the volume back up leaving the house, speeding through the neighborhood. The windows were all down letting the wind blow through your hair. "I see you like Chase Atlantic", you said turning your head slightly towards him. "Yeah, they're my favorite band", he replied. His eyes stayed focused on the road. The car ride was very comfortable now that you two talked a little.
He eventually pulled up to your house and the lights in your house were dimly lit. You noticed the two cars parked outside of your house that weren't there when you left.
"Fuck, my parents are home I'll see you later Kawaki", you said running out the car. Kawaki didn't reply but he softly smiled and pulled away.
You walked through the door and heard distant chatter coming from the kitchen. You took your shoes off and walked over to the kitchen.
"Look who it is, where have you been y/n?", your mother said. "I was out with Boruto, Sarada, and Kawaki", you said standing in the door way. "You never asked us to go", your dad added. "I know I'm sorry", you said walking up the stairs onto the second floor and into your room.
