Armoured Rose: The End (Iron Man Male Reader X RWBY Fanfic)

Aftermath

(This takes place in after the events of RWBY Volume 8 with Y/N Rose & the rest of the surviving/remaining party. Also, this is a tineskip & 2nd, since Volume 9 ain't released yet so I'll do what I can).

[No One's POV]

(3 days before timeskip) After the people were saved by both Winter & Iron Man Y/N was broken hearted as now he lost Penny twice. He was even more heartbroken when he saw his sisters fall to their deaths as he wasn't fast enough to catch them in time. When everyone were reunited with Qrow, Pietro, & the others both Pietro & Y/N were heartbroken as they both lost the ones they love as now they were depressed as some of the party tries to comfort the 2 of them. And so everyone kept moving somewhere to find a town or maybe a city to take refuge as they've been walking for atleast several days. But luckily they had enough resources to camp out but if they don't find something soon then all of their resources will be down. As night time comes Winter sees Y/N sitting alone as he was looking down with sadness. Winter then goes to him so she could comfort him. Oscar saw her going to Y/N too so he joins them.

>Y/N Rose:
(Looks at his stew with sadness).

>Winter Schnee:
Y/N?

And then Y/N looks at his back as they asked him if they could sit down with him. He then agreed as he gives them enough space to sit with him.

>Oscar:
Look Y/N, what happened in there wasn't your fault, Cinder was res--

>Y/N Rose:
(Looks down at his stew sad) Why? Why do I always lose those who I love most? Why does this always happen to me? Am I really worthy of being Iron Man?

>Winter Schnee:
I know how you feel Y/N, I lost my sister & so did you. But we can't let depression get a hold of yourself. All we could do now is stop Salem & save the people for our loved ones.

>Y/N Rose:
(Sad & Angry) But I can't! Just how can I keep on living without them!? Salem was too powerful, so much so that when I fought her I couldn't even kill her! Hazel died fighting her! And now Cinder, she killed everyone I loved!

>Winter Schnee:
(She then grabs Y/N & slapped him & then grabs him) Just because you can't kill someone powerful doesn't mean you can just give up! My sister & your sisters fought to save you & all of us! I feel the same way you do but you can't just give up now! We have a mission to do, & for as I know that Iron Man doesn't give up no matter how hard you fall!

And so silence was filled in the area until Oscar decided to break the silence.

>Oscar:
What she's trying to say Y/N is it's not too late, we can save these people & avenge those you loved. No, avenged those we loved as I can't forgive Salem, true, but I can't just let my emotions get the best of me. It's just what your sisters would've wanted, so promise us that you'll never ever quit being Iron Man & avenge your sisters, Penny, & your best friend, Jaune.

And so Y/N was not angry anymore but just sad as he knows that Oscar is right & he remembered his mother telling him that he can't just keep on fighting for vengeance but to save others no matter how hard the challenge is. And as Y/N told Oscar of how right he was Winter then lets Y/N go.

>Y/N Rose:
(Looks back at his stew with sadness) Everyday I save lives but little by little I sometimes lose some people whom I was supposed to save. I couldn't even save my sisters, my girlfriend, & my best friend. But I promise that I will live on for them & avenge them if I have the chance. Because if I can't protect or save both the people & this world, then I will sure as hell avenge it.

As they were talking Pietro, Maria, & Qrow were watching them the whole time as they not only overheard their conversation but Pietro almost felt the same thing Y/N does & Qrow is actually the same & they couldn't help but be proud of Y/N as they all kinda feel a bit better than before.

[Y/N's POV]

And after you had your talk & finished your meal you then went back in your tent as you were about to go to sleep. But before you do you see pictures of you & your big sisters as you touched the picture & had a smile but with a tear as you couldn't help but be sad & smile at the same time. As you do that Emerald was in your tent as she was just there to talk.

>Emerald:
Look Y/N, I know how you feel about Cinder & I understand that but I just hope that maybe I can talk her out of it but I don't know if--

>Y/N Rose:
It's alright Emerald, I understand. Sure I wanna avenge my sisters, my girlfriend, & my best friend but maybe you're right, maybe you could talk to Cinder about this. And once we do have to fight her then I promise that I won't kill her, just defeat her.

This made Emerald happy as you understood her. She also told you that you can do this, you can defeat Salem 1 day. She knows that she's immortal but she believes in you so you hugged back. And so Emerald left your tent as now you turned of your lights & went to bed.
