So sorry for another late-night post. I am just going through old files that I have written and I came across one file that I found interesting. And I may have discussed this before but I don't remember that so I am going to say it again. I found a file literally named: CountryHumans as Hamilton. For those of you who don't know Hamilton is an American-made musical about the life of the United States Secretary of the Treasury(Guy who helps the leader of the country keep track of the money that country has spent, lent out, that kind of stuff). The creator of this musical, Lin-Manuel Miranda, decided that he wanted to make a musical about the embodiment of rap and hip-hop of the era, so he went with Alexander Hamilton. Since its first debut on Broadway in New York City, it has become an international phenomenon.
So being someone who likes this musical a lot, enough to memorize every single lyric because I was bored, decided: Which CountryHumans characters would fit best if someone were to make a full production of Hamilton with these characters. And here is what I settled on. I am going to list the characters in the musical. Every character I don't name can be played by any country
Alexander Hamilton: America(Ame)
Aaron Burr: Germany
Eliza: Russia(I ship RusAme)
Angelica: Ukraine
John Laurens: Belgium
Philip Hamilton(Alexander's Son): RusAme's Kid
Marquis de Lafayette: France
Thomas Jefferson: Italy
Peggy: Belarus
Maria Reynolds: Cuba
Hercules Mulligan: Czech Republic
James Madison: Greece
King George III: UK
Geroge Washington(This is the hardest character to a place. I'll tell you why in a minute): Left Open
The reason why George Washington is the hardest character to place is because of the relationship that Washington has with Hamilton. Hamilton views Washington as an icon, a father figure, a god of sorts. Washington views Hamilton as his son kinda. So because of how the Character of America is in the CountryHumans Lore, it's hard to find a character that America actually looks up to that is a father figure without being his actual father which is King George. If any of you can think of a character that would fit the role of Washington please let me know.
