Sehun || What a fate

The sky is getting dark and dark clouds have become heavy so you went to the nearest cafe before the rains pours down.

“Aish... I didn't even bring an umbrella.“ You complained as you saw drops of rain start falling to the ground.

You swung the door of the cafe open and strolled towards the counter. The cafe played a soothing music that is really jiving with the rain outside.

“Good morning maam, what is your order?“ A handsome guy Smiled as soon as you reach the counter.

“Can I have a bubble tea?“ You say as you reach for your wallet inside your bag.

“ Its $***“ He looked at you. To your luck, your wallet didn't seem to want to show up. “Jakkamamnyo.“ You said politely as you placed your bag on the counter and searched for your wallet.

Panic has already invaded you as seconds pass, plus the fact that there are also other customers waiting.

“Yah. Agassi (miss), can you make it quick?“ A huge guy behind you complained. You looked at him and then back to the counterboy.

“I-I seemed to misplace my wallet...“ You told the counterboy. He just smiled at you and gave you the bubble tea. Attached to the tray is  piece of paper which he wrote to when you were busy searching for your wallet.

“Pay me later. :) -세훈“

He smiled at you while you blush because of embarrassment, still you took the bubble tea and sat on the farthest seat from the counter, next to the glass wall.

Pabo. (Stupid) You facepalmed. "How will I be able to go home?" Just right after you tell this to yourself your hand phone rings.

SEHUN'S POV

I looked at her direction again for the nth time. Not because I am making sure she pays me what I paid for her, but because she was too pretty.

"What is your order sir?"

"I'll order a freshly brewed coffee with a cream."

"Okay sir, it's $***"

As the costumer on the shop gets fewer I had more time to look at her. Suddenly her phone rings. I tried to read her lips since I can't hear what she might be talking about. Then I read from her lips the word. "Oppa."

I felt suddenly down. She has a boyfriend, what am I thinking? A girl that pretty does not have a boyfriend? Disappointing, Sehun! You are disappointing... I am nothing but a cashier boy working at a fancy coffee shop and she looks like a rich lady with a boy friend.

Later, I saw a guy walk towards her direction, guess it is really her boyfriend. A handsome and well-built one.

I just sighed, then I kept taking the orders of the new costumers, until I forget that she was there.

It was already 8 in the evening and it is our time to close, and as I scan the whole shop, I saw that they were the only costumer that was there.

I walked near them to tell them that we will be closing.

"ah, excuse me." I started as I looked at the guy infront of her.

"Oh, you must be SeHun." The guy recognized me.

"Ah... neh (Yes)."

"You look familiar." The guy told me as he scanned my features, then suddenly it looked like he remembered me.  Where have you seen me?" I asked as he smiled at me then back to the lady.

"I am going now, dongsaeng." He rose up. Dongsaeng??? Younger sister??? I felt relieved as I hear him tell that, but where could he have seen me? I got curious as I watch him move towards the door.

"Ah!!!! Oppa!!! hand me money!" The lady shouted but it was kind of late because her brother has already left, when she tried to follow him I grabbed her hand and she looked at me. "Actually, can you pay me with your time?"

"Why just my time?"

"Because I... like you?"

It just came off my mouth. How could I?

Author's POV

You were shocked with his sudden confession at the same time you flushed in red. He is a charming, handsome and considerate guy, why wouldn't I try? You told yourself.

"You mean... date?"

"You can call it that way." He said as he removes his grip of your hand. He blushed as he looked at you.

"Sehun! Hurry up, we still need to clean up." Another guy shouts at him.

"So, what's your answer?"

"I-I'm cool with that." You said as he jumped with your reply. "Wait for me, we'll be done in a minute."

When he was done cleaning, you both went out and had a walk somewhere far from the noisy city, but still with bright lights and fresher night breeze.

"You can call me Yan-yan." You introduced your nickname

"Sehun." He replied in return as he held his hand which you shook.

You both talked about each other, school, hobbies until get to the point when he talked about his family.

"My parents went abroad and I didn't want to go there and they even told me that they will be arranging me to marriage, so I deceived them and didn't show up. I decided to live on my own, and every time I feel like they have already tracked me, I would change my hair color and my job.."

"Really?" You replied, concern is in your tone.

"Yah. I remember her name ... it's A-Arianne..." You were shocked in what you have just heard. Remember that you only shared nicknames.

"Hahahahah. Don't worry, we were still not engaged. They told me that she still didn't want to be engaged. I haven't seen her in personal too. And if ever that happens... ah, that shall never happen..." He immediately backed up since he thought you were shocked and didn't want to get you upset about being with him.

You were still processing your thoughts. Sehun. You repeated his name until you finally remembered...

"Perhaps is your whole name, Oh SeHun?" He looked back at you with a curiousity on how you knew his whole name. Now he was the one in shock, and you just chuckled at his face.

"It's me, Arianne. Would you run away if I say I will be your fiancee?" You teased him as you glared at him.

"Chincha?!!! Hell, there's no way I am gonna run if it's you! Seriously??? Hahahahahaha!"  Disbelief and excitment with mix of happiness was visible in his expression.

"You are the heir of the Oh company, the only heir who I heard was a spoiled brat." You told him as a proof that you were really supposed to be his fiancee.

He just nodded, still having the amazed expression. "So... Do you think the engagement shall never happen?"

"Are you kidding me?! You are officially my fiancee from now on, and I might already decide to get back to my parents and marry you." He laughed as he kissed your forehead.

"What a spoiled brat." You say hugging him back.
"What a fate..." He said.
