Katya and I are getting married in 1 month. I was more than excited, we were starting to organize everything and we both had the same view of what we wanted. Just close friends, a ceremony outside in a rented house in front of the beach. There wasn't going to be more than 50 people but we still wanted to splurge, well Katya did.
I was preparing the post cards for every guests and decided to call Violet, it had been a while since I talked to her and I wanted to announce the news to her directly.
"Hey Vi!"
"Trix! How's Los Angeles?"
"Oh it's amazing Violet. The club is really nice and I made a lot of new friends. I wish you would visit me sometimes. And now I have a reason to make you come!"
"Good for you girl! What is it tell me?"
"I'm getting married!" I excitedly said, not fully believing it myself still.
"What?! To who?"
"To Katya. She proposed 3 weeks ago. And well obviously I said yes"
"Ooooh girl you hit the jackpot! She's not gonna die soon but I guess she spoils you a lot. I wanna see the ring! How expensive is it?" Violet replied.I was a bit shocked. I didn't even think of it like that. Sure Katya and I started as sugar mommy and baby but it was so different now. It might seem like I'm marrying for money to everyone else though.
"Hum I don't know... But I love her Violet it's not like that"
"Mhhh yeah I love all my sugar daddies too!" She replied sarcastically.
"Speaking of I'm going to see old rich man number 5 right now I'll talk to you later! Congrats!"
"Thank you, bye"I hung up and let what Violet said go to my head. I felt bad. I put my head in my hands and tried to rationalize everything. I needed to talk to Katya. She was working in her office but I still decided to go see her.
"Babe?" I called knocking on her door.
"Mh come in love"
I entered and sat on the side of her desk."Katya... why do you want to marry me?"
"What? Is there something wrong?" Katya asked panicked.
"Please answer"
"Because I love you and want to spend my entire life with you baby. Why else?"
"No it's just... I don't care about your money. And that's what everyone will think of me... that I'm just a gold digger. But we don't have to get married Katya I'm not going anywhere. You don't have to do this to keep me by your side."
"Trixie fuck what anybody thinks of us. I know you love me and I trust you. I just want to show you I'm really serious. But if you don't want to do this wedding it's okay."
"No no I do!"
"And regarding the money thing the prenup is only to protect you. If I die you will keep the house and all my savings, and that's just fair. I wouldn't want it any other way. You're the most important person in my life."
"I know but if you die Katya, I'll leave this world too. I wouldn't know what to do with myself"
"Don't say that babygirl" Katya said opening her arms. I sat in her lap and she hugged me tight against her, pressing kisses on my head."Are you sure you want to marry me?"
"100%" I replied, pulling Katya's chin up to kiss her.***
Me and Katya were getting ready side by side. She hired two makeup artists and hair stylists for each of us. We were holding hands silently, waiting for our faces and hair to be done.
After that we each went to a separated room to dress. Katya had a bright red gown with fine lace around the neckline, the sleeves and the bottom. It had a train, but smaller compared to mine. My dress was white, the sleeves rested low on my shoulders and the lace matched Katya's. I wore the pink and gold necklace she bought me, and her favorite lingerie set she got for me too but she didn't know that yet. I felt like a princess, 3 different people making sure everything was perfect before I stepped out to join my future wife.
Katya and I walked out together to the aisle. She looked indescribably beautiful. We were both smiling from ear to ear as we passed our friends hand in hand. I could've cried but I needed to be flawless for the pictures. Katya still made some of my tears fall after reading her vows, and she couldn't hold back her own as well.
