CROWPAW

CrowPaw watched as the newest kits of ShadowClan toppled over each other, awing at the huge world around him.

One of them was FeatherKit, A small tabby with wide brown eyes. Behind them was FlowerKit, she had beautiful light brown fur, her body flanked with white marking. She was an odyssey among the other kits.

Before CrowPaw could focus on something else he felt someone tackle his side. He flinched and twisted into his back, swinging his paws at the cat on top of him.

He hissed but he then heard BlazePaws laugh take over. He blinked a few times as his vision stabilized.  On top of him was the friendliest cat he knew: BlazePaw

CrowPaw rolled his eyes and pushed the ginger off of him, sitting up and licking the dirt off his pelt.

BlazePaw's laugh died down. "You need to work on your peripheral vision. I was right next to you." BlazePaw said, flicking his tail, his usual goofy smile plastered on his face.

CrowPaw looked over at BlazePaw. He was was a small and skinny Tom, His fur was a cream color while his face, tail, paws, and ears were a light orange ginger. He also had dark orange tabby marks along his fur. Oh and he had the greenest eyes CrowPaw had ever seen. He was a beauty.

"So? I could hear you. The leaves were practically screaming under you." CrowPaw bit back, giving a cocky smile, Sitting up straighter, looking back over at the kits who were now being ushered back into the den by the deputy.

BlazePaw sat by CrowPaw and nudged his shoulder lightly. "Loosen up CrowPaw. Just because I got you while you weren't paying attention doesn't mean that your life is over." BlazePaw said wrapping his tail around Crow's

CrowPaw looked over at him yanking his tail from his and standing up quickly. "It does mean that BlazePaw. I need to go to the Gathering this time to show that I am a name to be remembered." CrowPaw flicked his tail his ears pinning back as he watched BlazePaw stand up and take a step back.

The two eyed each other before BlazePaw looked down at his paws. Shifting there for a moment before giving a nod.

BlazePaw took a deep breath before he spoke again. "CrowPaw." He said softly. It made the gray cat stand up a little taller, loosening himself and becoming more laid back. "I know you're going to go to the Gathering. I've watched you train. No one compares."

CrowPaw was at a loss for words. He reached up and brushed his left ear which was tattered and limp, almost curving over at the part which remained.

CrowPaw gave a sigh. "I'm sorry BlazePaw. I didn't mean to go off on you." He sighed and rubbed his cheek along BlazePaw's

BlazePaw smiled and jumped down from the rock, turning back and looking at CrowPaw with warm eyes and a wide smile. "I know CrowPaw." He said quickly. "But let's see if you really mean it." And with those words BlazePaw took off into a sprint.

CrowPaw knew what this meant and jumped down and chased after him. His adrenaline pumping as he jumped over sticks and leaves, landing neatly before chasing after him again.

BLAZEPAW

BlazePaw felt like the ground was shaking under him, he could feel his heart beating in his throat and the wind in his face.

CrowPaw had been his best friend for moons. Ever since they were kittens. He always made his days a little brighter, even when the sky was cloudy and gloomy.

Even when CrowPaws accident came by, Scarring his ear and his pride, BlazePaw and him worked together. CrowPaw was still a little embarrassed by his scar but BlazePaw found it heroic for what he'd done.

BlazePaw turned his head slightly and watched as the gray Tom leaned over obstacles, the wind blowing the cats face and showing off the grand smile he had.

When BlazePaw had fallen sick last spring, he could barely stand and thought he was losing himself. The only thing that helped him hold onto that light was

Gray fur.
Yellow eyes.

The fact that CrowPaw was one of the best apprentices in their group was phenomenal. That nothing can hurt him anymore.

That CrowPaw was alive was crazy

And BlazePaw was hopelessly in love with him.

CROWPAW

CrowPaw followed BlazePaw all up until the Dragon Tail River. BlazePaw was bent over and lapping at the water, panting between breaths.

CrowPaw crouched down and started making his way to the Tom. Before BlazePaw could lift his head and look at him he pounced, pinning his friend under him.

The two's eyes connected before they both broke out in a laugh as CrowPaw flopped down and laid next to BlazePaw.

Their laughter seemed to carry on for what seemed like hours before they heard a cat approaching them. Both of them jumped up and eyes the direction it came from.

CrowPaw leaped up and stood in front of BlazePaw and pinned his ears down and unsheathed his claws, gripping the ground and waiting for what approached them.

But in a blink CrowPaw was on the ground and when he looked up he saw a wide smile.

"DewPaw!" He said and pushed her off of him but it came with struggle. But in a few seconds he was back up on his paws. Looking at the blue patched calico.

DewPaw was a very beautiful cat. She had calico-like splotches on her which were a mix of gray and blue with some black and white, and she had beautiful yellowish-amber eyes. Her body was quite chubby though, her cheeks rounded off as well as her thighs.

"How did you know we were here?" Asked BlazePaw, stepping beside CrowPaw with a tilted head.

"This is literally our spot. When you weren't in the den I knew where you guys went." She said in a matter-of-fact way, a cocky smile.

BlazePaw stood there before giving up and nodded. "Touché."

They all talked for a while before they all glanced over when the bushes began to rumble again. This time they were all together so they didn't know who it could be.

A brown pelt emerged from the Bush and CrowPaws eyes widened.
