It had been 2 years since the loss of john. I still went to his grave everyday. I used to just sit there, and talk about my day and what had happened with bro. On special occasions, such as his birthday, me, rose, and jade would bring four slices of cake and fruit gushers down to the cemetery and enjoy ourselves. One christmas we left a present by his grave, some hobo probably took it but it was a pipe and a note from all of us. It feels like hes still with us somedays, when the wind blows gently or when we hear a piano being played in the distance. I still belive that he's here. Thats why i go and talk to him, it feels like hes really there. During the month preceeding his death, we all started picking up bad habits again. Rose started drinking more, jade was sleeping a lot more, and i fell into a deep depression and i secluded myself in my room(i watched conair about thirty times). Its better now, i feel better. I talked to rose about how i felt like he was still with us, she agreed. When we were cleaning out his room, i found a note. It was under his bed. It said 'Dave, if you are reading this then i have died. Please dont be sad, i wouldnt want that. I know you, so go make a rap about it, i want to hear it if you ever visit my grave. ~john egbert' i started crying. They were tears of joy. The moment i got home i put on my headphones and started up a rap. It was the best ive ever done, well to my standards at least. I went to his resting place the next day and presented my creation. I thought i could hear him, that geeky laugh of his, he would probably say something like 'dude you cant rap!'. I could just picture him smiling and laughing, telling me that its ok. That hes better now. That im better now.
