welcome to my second ted talk and i will talk about why the guy that said "frick all of you im going to say you cant spell like you want it" is bad (also 2 swear words lol)
i forgot his name but before he came and said "i hate everything in going to make everyone hate it too" everybody just spelled how they wanted and there was no right or wrong spelling but then this dude was like "no" and just said this is how you spell this this and this
reasons why this was annoying
1. now people have to spell properly and some people have to completely spell differently than what they were comfortable with
2. the spelling is literal shit like who tf said phone should have a ph and not just be spelled like an f, it would be so much simpler. Also silent letters are also the most annoying thing ever, just remove it them boom its all fine and there is no confusion with spelling
3. people with disorders can struggle more. like i get that people didnt rlly know that disorders existed when correct spelling in invented but they still didnt have to do it bc now people with dyslexia and other learning disabilities have a hardr time learning than when they couldve spelt like they were used to it
4. school had to be born to help people spell and usually it wasnt fun, didnt help and also out stress onto students which caused mental problems
those are my reasons
that guy is my 13th reason/j
but seriously why tf would you do that its shit
just let people write how they want
