My King (Technoblade x Fem! Reader)

~Royal Family~

~Techno POV~

"Techno?" I heard my father, Phil call out 

"Yes dad?" I closed my book and turned my head 

"It's already 2 pm, you have spar lessons remember?" He reminded 

"2 already? Alright then" I placed my book back onto it's shelf 

"You know Techno, you are going to need a queen to help you rule the kingdom and to help take care of yourself" 

"Dad we've been over this, I'm not interested in love" 

"We'll see about that son, now off you go" 

Dad, or I should say Phil has been asking me about getting a queen for when I become king. I'm not one for love but surely someone will change that.. right? Either way I have to focus on spar practice for now. 

"Prince Techno what's bothering you?" The head knight, James asked as we finished practice for the day, he must've noticed me zoning out or noticed my posture which wasn't the best.

"Nothing just some thoughts, uh sir James can I ask you something?" 

"Sure Prince Techno" 

"Was it hard to find love before your wife Mel?" 

"Ah, King Phil is asking about the whole future queen thing again I suppose" 

"Yeah, I mean I do enjoy reading, sparring and wondering around more than finding love but something tells me that once I find the right person I'd enjoy it and not regret a thing about it" 

"Prince Techno it will take time to find love, even I didn't think about love much until Mel. It will take time and like you said once you find the right one it seems all worth it." 

"Thank you James" 

"Anytime Prince Techno"

I walked out of the practice room and headed to the throne room where Phil asked me to meet him after spar practice. I saw my brothers there too, I wonder what it's about. 

"Dad?" 

"Techno!" Tommy, my youngest brother said 

"Hello Tommy" I greeted him back

"Techno, can I leave you in charge of the kingdom for a week? I have a trip to attend in 2 weeks" Phil asked, I mean let's not waste the practice and lessons I've had shall we 

"Sure dad, I don't mind" 

"Thank you Techno, Wilbur, Tommy don't trouble your brother too much alright?" Phil said to my brothers

"Ok dad" Wilbur answered, he wasn't the biggest hassle 

"Finee" Tommy said after Wilbur nudged him, now Tommy would be a hassle

"Oh and James, our head guard. His family is going to stay here for a while due to the fact that Eret needs help in tailoring and Mel, James' wife knows how to tailor. Of course they can't just leave their daughter alone so she'll be here as well, though James did say their daughter prefers going around town or to the gardens, you might encounter her in the brew room, spar room, tailor's or library as well, James said she liked doing so." Phil explained 

"Ok dad, should I show them around so they doesn't get lost? Or will sir James do so?" I asked, the castle is quite big

"Sure you can, James may be occupied training the new guards with Dream, George and Sapnap so you can give Mel and her daughter the tour. Do ask her for her name, I haven't asked James yet" Phil answered 

After clearing that up with Phil, Tommy and Wilbur wanted to have a go on sparring with me. I don't mind it though Tommy usually whines when he loses, Wilbur's a good sport so I never mind it when he wants to. To no surprise I beat them in a 2v1, Tommy is whining and Wilbur is practicing archery. 

"Tommy shut up, you asked to spar with and you lost. Stop whining will ya?" 

"Fine! Wilbur can you teach me archery?" He went to Wilbur poking his upper arm

"Yeah yeah! Now stop poking me child" Wilbur placed his bow in Tommy's hand and started guiding him

I decided to join them in archery as I needed some practice anyway. After 2 hours of combat practice me and my brothers decided to visit the guards chamber as some of our friends are there, such as BadBoyHalo who we call Bad or BBH which is Darryl but prefers his nickname, Dream which is Clayton or Clay, George, Sapnap which is Nick, and Awesamdude which is Sam. Them and their nicknames. 

"Why hello there prince's what brings you here?" Dream said in a slightly sarcastic manner as we told them just to call us by our names

"Clayton, hush" I said as I knew he preferred to be called by Dream or Clay. 

"Oh come on Techno!" The green hooded man replied 

We all talked and shared a few things before it was sundown, we got back to our own rooms and slept for the night. The next few days went by normally but today I decided to take a walk around the town, not my usual activities but Phil encourages me to look around and get to know the town and it's people better. But before that...

"Prince Techno! How may I be of service?" Eret, our tailor asked as I walked in

"My cape, have you had time to fix it?" I asked, my cape was torn in sparring with my brothers so I asked Eret to fix it. They had apologized about it and I know it as just a simple accident so I didn't really mind it. 

"Ah yes, it's right here" He responded taking out a mannequin which has my cape all fixed up on it 

"Thank you Eret" I simply thanked and handed him the emeralds as payment

"My pleasure Sir Techno" He said and I left the tailoring room 

As I was heading to the front gate, I stopped by at the kitchen to grab a snack just an apple. I went out of the castle in a white cotton silk shirt tucked into black trousers which had a gold chain dangling on the waistline, my red cape on my back, the crown on top of my head. At first I was considering to bring a weapon of some sort, like a sword or dagger an axe even, but left it as it's just the town right?
