You woke up early the next morning. Your eyes were puffy from crying last night. You did your usual morning routine while thinking about you were going to do. You thought it was probably best to stay with some family while the killers were on the loose.
You get dressed and pack a few belongings you wanted to take with you. You even take the book with you. It's your most prized possession now. You finish up packing and start turning off lights and stuff as you make your way to the door.
Right as you were going out the door you saw the man from the other day parked outside your house, this time accompanied by another younger man. He was just as tall with long black hair. As soon as they saw you, they ran towards you. Immediately you turned and went into your home.
By the time you locked the first lock, they were already knocking at your door. Their knocks seemed a bit panicked. You couldn't really hear what they were trying to say through the door. You weren't really interested though. That was until they said something about you being in danger.
Suddenly you heard the sound of a window breaking. You stood in shock for a moment before making a run for your kitchen. Quickly you opened a drawer and pulled out the biggest knife you had. When you looked up there was a man at the entrance of your kitchen.
He was dressed in black from head to toe. On his shirt was the symbol of a golden pyramid in a circle. Was this the illuminati??? You would've laughed at the absurdity if the guy wasn't holding a gun in his hand.
You stood in fear as he pointed it at you. Were you to meet the same fate as the book shop owner? Is this what her last moments were like?
Suddenly the door bursts open and the illuminati guy is immediately tackled to the ground. You stand there shocked, watching as the long-haired guy beats the illuminati guy and takes his gun. The other one notices you and asks if you still have the book. Confused and scared you just point the knife at him.
"What the fuck is going on!?" You scream.
"Do you have the book or not?" The taller one says raising his voice.
You pull the book out of your bag. The guy steps closer to you but you keep you knife raised to him.
"What's is going on and why is the illuminati involved??" You ask.
The guy with long hair laughs as he ties up the guy he just beat.
"It's not the illuminati. It's a cult and they want the book." The taller one tried to explain.
"It's my book, it's the only thing I have from my friend." You said.
"If you keep the book you'll be in danger. This cult will keep coming after you." He explained some more.
"Is this why the book shop owner died" You asked.
They both went quiet for a bit before the taller one answered. "Yes."
"I'm in danger with or without the book then." You stated.
The men look at each other for a bit and then start talking amongst themselves. They were discussing what to do about you. They couldn't leave you here defenseless, but they didn't want to take you with them. It sounded like they were looking for the city of Kul Elna. As they argued over your fate and idea came to mind.
"You guys want the book, right?" You started.
They both turned to look at you.
"Well, I can't possibly stay here without being murdered and I'm not going to let you both walk away with the book." You continued.
