From a Halloween art collab event on Instagram
The theme for the event was witches, and for whatever reason unknown even to me, I picked the spider witch option, despite being utterly terrified and grossed out by spiders (to all spider lovers reading this, they're cool, but they're just... not for me)
The concept was initially a witch sitting within her lair, with human skeletons around, and spider legs growing out of her midsection. But this concept in my head would not be creepy or scary unless it has some gore, which is something I am not good at (yet). So I settled with this concept, more of a fantasy splash art sort. The colour palettes of black, white, pink, purple is still pretty close to the original concept's colour palette, which is black, red, purple, blue.
But anyway, drawing her is a lot of fun, even though the angle is slightly challenging, as I'm not that good at drawing low angles.
Now the question is what should I name her?
