Chapter 03

Mordred POV

Dream

I'm standing on the battlefield, with dead soldiers at my feet.

Mordred: Where is he?! Where is the king of knight?!

I kill another knight, then dug my sword into the ground to catch my breathe.

But then I saw him. King Arthur, the one who never acknowledged me, nor show me any gratitude for my hard work. Father was the only one who ever did. My father, Madara Uchiha far surpasses him. I apologize father, but defeating king Arthur is my goal. If I am to die here, I hope you can forgive me.

Mordred: How's this? Do you see king Arthur! Your kingdom will end here! This is where I defeat you, for I have surpassed you!

Arthur then raised his sword.

Mordred: Do you hate me? Do you detest me that much? Is it because I am a child of a witch? Answer me ARTHUR!

I charge at king Arthur and our swords clash, but Arthur sword was knocked out of her hand.

Arthur: I have never once thought of you as detestable.

I notice he had his javelin in his right hand.

Arthur: But you will never surpass me, nor will you be fit to be crowned king.

All of suddenly I saw my father in front of me. My eyes widen in shock. I saw king Arthur was also in shock.

When I looked down I saw Arthur javelin in his stomach.

Mordred:*shocked* F-Father?

Arthur pulled out the javelin, which cause father to lose his balance and fall on his back.

Mordred: Father!

I ran up to him and kneeled down towards him and laid his head on my lap.

Mordred:*tears up* Why did you save me?!

Madara: Isnt it obvious, I didnt want either of you to die. If I had to take the blow to protect you, then so be it.

Mordred:*sobbing* This isnt what I wanted. I didnt want this!

Madara:*chuckles* Listen to me Mordred.

I couldnt control my tears from falling. I look back at my father.

Madara: I want you to know that I have always been proud of you. I'm proud of your determination, your dedication, your strong will. You are the greatest daughter I could ever ask for. I have never regretted taking you in as my own. I enjoyed the time we've spent together and the time we've trained together.

Father then placed his hand on my cheek and smiled at me.

Madara: Maybe one day we will see each other again.

Mordred: No, please dont leave me! I need you by my side father! I cant do this without you please!

Madara:*chuckles* I'll always be by your side Mordred, maybe not in person, but in spirit I will be.

I couldnt stop my tears from flowing.

Madara: Arthur, you are both my best friend and brother. I am proud of the person you have become, but I am also disappointed at how you treated your own child. I thought that she could have help ease the worry in your heart, but guess I was wrong. I am not mad that you were the one who killed me, but I hope you are able to accept Mordred and help teach her to be a proper king in the future, that is my only request that I ask of you brother.
