Ch 2:

Dakota's POV: I checked the time, Oh no it was already 3 pm. Before I could go for lunch, I put on something a bit more simple. Wait, what am I thinking! Why am I trying to impress this man?? I just met him. I had been in a great mood since but remembering my sister's escape made me wonder what she would be doing. I skipped to the dining room singing a tune I recalled from one of our maids.

Niklaus: Hello love

Dakota: Oh, I was just messing around, apologies my lord Niklaus.

Niklaus: You have absolutely nothing to apologise for. You have a beautiful voice. Don't stop, I'd rather you continue. Shall we? (POV: I held out my hand and she grabbed it rather hesitantly.)

Time Skip To Them Sitting At The Table:

Dakota's POV: I was seated to the left of my father who was at the head, there was a seat to the right of him as well but it was empty considering that it was supposed to be my sister's. Lord Elijah out of curiosity queried on who was supposed to be seated there. My father was infuriated. He called for the castle guards immediately.

King: I need you to search the castle and it's grounds right now and if she isn't found, you lot are in trouble.

Dakota: Father, they didn't do anything. Let me go with them to look for her.

King: Don't you dare act like you don't know where she is, you both are attached by the hip.

Dakota's POV: Father got up angrily and almost in sync so did Lord Niklaus.

Dakota: Ni- I mean Lord Niklaus, I think it's best to let it go.

Niklaus: No, he cannot speak to you like that. Does this bloody buffoon really think of himself as such a god.

Elijah: I do not believe that there is a need to make such a big scene so please sit down Niklaus and your highness.

King: Finally someone here who respects my authority. Niklaus, unless you plan on showing me the same respect, you shall be banished to the dungeons.

Niklaus's POV: I could no longer believe the ignorance of this man, does he not know who I am. Who am I kidding, of course he doesn't. None of them do, especially not the lovely Princess Dakota. I slowly walked up to him, I compelled him to forget any part of the drama and to speak to his beautiful daughter with affection. Then I walked over to the princess, I compelled her to tell me where her sister was and then forget all about it. Diana ran away, no surprise there.

Niklaus: See you at at 7 pm love.

Niklaus's POV: We left the chambers and into our grand bedrooms. I must rest before I meet Dakota for the tour of the kingdom. I am looking forward to that tremendously.

(A/N: Hi, in one of the chapters I'll be making a part to explain what Diana is doing.                    -MrsMikaelson6962)
