Chapter 3

After the food was set out and everything else was perfect it was 7:30 so the students were seated on the stage and all the parents were being seated around tables.

~~LUNA'S POV~~

As I took my seat on stage I looked around to see if my parents were here yet but I couldn't see them anywhere. it's ok they are probably just running late I thought to myself. so the ceremony began and after about 45 minutes it was time to dance with out partners.incase you didn't know I have a boyfriend he is tall with blond hair and bright blue eyes and his name was jake ,so I went to find him and then standing against the wall talking to his friends I see him .he is wearing a black tux with an aqua tie that matches my dress as soon as he spots me he runs up to me and pulls me in to a big hug.

"You look beautiful ".he said,staring at me

"You look pretty good your self I said,smiling at him as I lead us out to the dance floor

There is still no sign of my parents anywhere I was quite worried and as I broke my thoughts I saw jake staring at me

"What's wrong Luna?" He asked

"My parents aren't here and they said they were coming". I replied sadly

"Don't worry I'm sure they just fell asleep or something don't stress." he told me as he have me a kiss on the cheek

"I hope your right".i squeaked

We danced for about and hour with drink breaks as everyone started to leave.

"Do you want me to give you a ride home?"

"Yes please,Ellie was supposed to be my ride but she went home early with her boyfriend".i said as I grabbed my purse

I got into the car and rang both of my parents phones but no one picked up now I was really getting worried

"Seriously Luna calm down it will all be ok babe". he said as he rested his hand on my knee

After a few minutes of awkward silence we pulled up at my house as the car turned off jake and I got out and walked to my door hand in hand, as we reached the front door I knocked several times but no one came so u took the spare key out of the flower pot and unlocked the door as we walked in we searched all the rooms but no one was in this house so I walked out into he garage and saw that heir car was gone. at that moment jake came in and hugged me from behind.

"Luna they might be doing something important so let's just wait here til they get back and I'll wait with you". He said as he led me into the lounge room

"Your right lets just watch TV for a bit".i said as I turned on the TV,i then Ran up and jumped on jake and we at here on the couch cuddled up when the news came on

"BREAKING NEWS we have a car crash on rafiki street and the two passengers have died on the scene if anyone recognises this car can u please come forward".

The grey ute showed on the TV and that's when my heart stopped
