Chapter 4

~~LUNA'S POV~~
I couldn't believe my eyes,that was my parents car.

I shot up off the couch and so did jake. I ran out to jakes car and jumped in the passenger seat and jake jumped in the drivers seat.

"Are we going to the police station?"asked jake

"Yes please and fast".i said as tears flooded my eyes

We arrived at the station about 10 minutes later. We both jumped put of the car and as we ran inside jake held my hand for support I was still crying uncontrollably. As we reached the lady at the front counter she gave me a sad look.

"Can I help you."she said

"Yes um the people in the car crash,well they were my parents."I said as I broke down again

"Oh I am so Sorry for your loss please follow me." she said as she walked into another room

So we followed her.

"I am so sorry".Jake said as he hugged me

"It's not your fault but thanks for Being here for me tonight." I said to him as I started walking again

"Anytime."he replied

The lady lead us into a room where two police officers were sitting and she asked us to take a seat across from them so we did

"Hello my name is Harry." said the tall one with black hair

"Hello my name is Kyle."said the one with blonde hair and he was quite short

"Hi my name is Luna and this is my boyfriend jake."i said as jake gave them a small nod

"So your parents were the ones in the accident?" He asked

"Yes they were."i replied as tears streaked my face

"Where were you when the accident occurred?" Asked Harry

"It was my grade 12 graduation tonight so I went with my friend a bit earlier so that I could help set up and before I left I told my parents that it started at 7:30 and grey both said that they will be there but they never showed." I told them

"So were you with her jake?" He asked him

"Yes when we got back to her house we discovered that their car was gone so we decided to wait til they came back but they didn't, we were watching TV when we saw the news come on and the report about the accident came on the. We can straight here."

"We are so sorry about your loss.do you have any family members you could live with."asked Kyle

"I only have an aunty in Europe and another aunty in Western Australia but I haven't seen either of them in 15 years."

"Ok wait here and we will give them a call."said Harry

"Alright." I replied as I sat there crying

After about 15 minutes of me and jake talking they came back.

"I'm afraid that none of them want to take care of you so your will be put in an orphanage." Kyle told me

"No please there has to be another option I have a boyfriend and a horse and friends I can't leave them." I said as I cried

"I will still come and see you."jake said

"Thanks but what about my horse." I asked Harry and Kyle

"Well everything will still be the same except you will be in an orphanage but please go home and get some rest and we will be there tomorrow at 5:00 pm to pick you up so have your stuff ready". replied Harry

"Ok." is all I said

So we drove home in silence
And when we arrived we both went inside and went to my room

"What am I going to do jake." I asked him

"I don't know but I won't leave you here tonight in staying with you."he said

"Thanks I'd like that ."I replied

We both fell asleep in my bed
