You woke up to the sound of your annoyingly loud alarm, getting out of bed slowly but surely trying to get ready for school. You showered and hopped out soon after throwing on your outfit for the day which was a black striped vest with a collared white shirt underneath along with a black skirt to match your black leggings and vest. You quickly did your eyeliner and grabbed the keys off the counter before attempting to leave the house.
"Y/n did you eat breakfast?" Your dad walked in leaning against the frame of the kitchen doorway. "No, I don't have time! I'm gonna be late!" You said tryna leave but he blocked the way, sighing loudly. "Dad, let me go get my education, then I'll worry about food."
"No, you have to eat something. That's the only way you can focus in class you little brat." "Fine, I'll get something from the convenient store, don't worry about me alright." You said walking past him running into the woman that had her jacket on already. "I'll come with you y/n." Your step mother said, throwing her arm over your shoulder.
You gritted your teeth but faked a smile since your dad was right behind you. She smirked knowing you couldn't talk back infront of your father.
You: "Fine." You sighed walking out the house with that witch of a mother.
Walking down the bright streets, It was just like every other day since you've gotten comfortable in your new house. Feeling like you were being watched but shrugged off that random feeling since you thought it just the stress of UCI.
Walking into the convenient store, you walked down an aisle leaving your mom to look for whatever she wanted. You picked chocolate and went to the back towards the freezer picking a Ice tea.
You waited at the front for your stepmom which she showed up minutes after.
"That's all you're gonna eat? such an unhealthy brat you are." She said, rolling her eyes, walking towards the cashier and paying for the both of you.
After leaving the store you sped walked away from that woman leaving without a word. At this point you were just so tired of wasting your words on someone who fell deaf to them. She didn't even say goodbye either. she left like she was embarrassed by you.
