They say nobody is perfect
But what does that mean
All these insecurities surround all these human beings
When we look in the mirror what do we see
All we see is shame, disgrace, and defeat
They say we are all beautiful
But what does that mean
All these people crying everyday
Because of what other humans have to say
They say "you are enough"
But what does that mean?
Because all these women are covering up their bodies
Thinking that they are nothing
Because of what you said-
Because when you said "nobody is perfect" , "we are beautiful", and "you are enough"
You didn't mean that
What you really meant was, "not EVERYONE is perfect" , "some of us are beautiful", and "you Won't be enough"
The pain we go through everyday, not knowing what people have to say.
They say "you shouldn't care about what others think"
But it's hard to think that, when all you have is negativity underneath
Take care of your body, and I'll take care of mine. But don't tell us to do something, because then all we will do is cover up and hide
