The group were hiding behind several chests and crates to avoid detection of whoever ran this vessel. The only downside was that they were staring to get the munchies, and unfortunately they haven't had anything to eat for 7 hours. That's when their stomachs start to growl

He grabs the shrubs and pulls them back

Unfortunately he pulls so hard it yanked him forward out of hiding
Papadum: uh oh
Someone notices him just as he retreats back. But it was too late, because the next thing they knew, they were surrounded by a gang of swashbuckling buccaneer pirates!
