you focused on the game displayed on your phone screen instead of the food in front of your face, which was being stolen by suna and harlan. "just take it." you insisted, pushing the platter closer to the two as they furrowed their eyebrows. "i'm fasting to save room for the buffet tonight!"
"i think you should eat." the brunette raised his eyebrows with an unimpressed look as he pushed the tray back. "i'm going too." you looked up from the phone with a look at the twins, sighing as you shook your head, turning back to see you died in the game. "oh, they didn't tell you?"
"must be payback." harlan smiled, swiping a carrot from your food tray. "you're the only one who isn't eating." you looked at the girl as she gnawed on the orange stick.
"please come."
"i'm going to zee's house, can't"
"i thought she was sick?"
"yeah she is, har is bringing her some soup and hanging out." osamu shared, taking a vegetable from atsumu's tray. you turned back to the girl to give a pout, listening to her sigh.
"i had to go without you last time." she countered back, snickering with the other three.
_
"i am stuffed!" you declared, stretching your arms as you walked out of the buffet place. you listened to atsumu yawn as osamu sat down at the edge of the sidewalk. "are you guys taking the train home?"
"no it's not too far for us." atsumu answered, pulling his phone out. "we can take you guys with us." suna shrugged as he sat down next to osamu, tapping his fingers on his knee.
"i already took the train here so i'm fine," you told the boy, watching the steam leave your mouth.
"you should drop y/n off at the station." suna advised, staring down at the paved parking lot.
"i need to walk these calories off." suna looked up from the concrete to you, furrowing his eyebrows. you sighed, lightly smacking the back of his head. "i'm fine." you insisted, smiling down at the boy. osamu and atsumu watched you two with raised eyebrows.
"mom wants to drop you off."
"there's a higher crime rate over here." suna added.
_
you thanked the twin's mom as you stepped outside of the car, noticing suna joining you as you reached the sidewalk. he leaned back into the car, speaking inaudible words to the other three before shutting the door and walking in front of you.
"i thought you were going home with them," you recalled, kicking a pebble before picking up the pace to reach him. the brunette turned to you, humming.
"the train isn't too safe either." you laughed at the comment before comprehending his seriousness. "there's some creeps y/n," he added, stuffing his hands into his pocket to shield them from the cold air. you watched suna from the side as he walked, focused on the sidewalk in front of him that led to the platform. you noticed the fog from his mouth and turned back to the front, focusing on not tripping over your own feet.
"focused on your feet?" the boy questioned, receiving a smack on the side from you. "i will have them turn around and come pick me up." he lightly smacked you back, you scoffed at the threat.
